These boots gave me the worst blister I've ever gotten from a pair of shoes. The foot rides too high with the insoles in. Good thing you can remove them. Hard as a rock without them, but at least the heel doesn't rub on the inside of the boot. They look good tho.

Shoe runs small. I order many shoes from your brand all in 11.5 and never had a problem. I have to return these as they are too small.

Shoes are too long from the front making it look like clown shoes. One of loops broke while trying them on. Had to return. Disappointed with this pair because I wear J&M brand's other shoes and they are fantastic.

I would like to love this boot. They look great with jeans or a suit, are very comfortable, and are different than other styles out there. Unfortunately, the heels started coming off after a few months of wear. Recently, the bottom of the left boot started to peel back from the sole. The soles are just not adhered well. I had to air nail the heels with glue as a stop-gap.

I had to return them . The tongue ripped / tore almost in half when I initially pulled the boot on for the first time . I'm addition the heel was not comfortable.

I have this same shoe in brown and it is a different fit and material. The black is narrower, tighter, and the leather feels different

I have had these boots for about a year. While I frequently wear them, I just wear them to the office so they do not really have heavy use. After about 6 months the outer sole split in the flex area around the midfoot. Very disappointing. I really had high hopes for these boots. They look very nice.

The heel fell off with less than 10 wears (light wears). I made customer service aware and they have been no help. Very disappointed in product quality and customer service. The saying "you get what you pay for" is not the case in this instance. One positive, they were beautiful when they were in one piece!

First time I wore the boots the top eyelet broke off. Now there is no metal for the shoelace, just a hole in the leather. That last eyelet is actually a wrap around one, not one that the lace goes through. It is a bit of a design flaw. I bought the boot's specifically for the zipper feature. The way you wear these type of boots is to set and tie the laces and then only use the zipper for easy on and off. With the wrap around eyelet, when you unzipped the boots and remove, the laces come off the wrap around making you re-tie the each time anyway. Bottom line, day one, broken boot. On a bright note, I have similar boots from J&M with a different eyelet system. Awesome boots.

I saw reviews that the heel on this particular type of boot falls off. I naively thought that Johnson and Murphy would fix this issue since the review was written a while ago. The first day I wore these boots, the right boot heel peels off.

Bought these in November and the heel fell off. What looks like wood seems to be actually compressed paper. Bad design for sure!

I returned the shoes because they were obviously used and will never shop with you all again because of this issue. I was mailed used shoes during a pandemic. And no compensation was offered.
