The shoe is comfortable and looks nice. My only issue are the laces broke after 1 month and I can find replacement laces.

Good looking. In-soles very comfortable. But, outer leather not as soft as I thought it would be. Maybe after worn for awhile.

These boots broke in quite quickly, they are my favorite boot. Unfortunately, the tread on the heal fell off while on a trip. The local Johnson Murphy store exchanged them immediately with a new pair.. I am loving these boots and the reaction I get from others. I hope they hold up.

The boots look great and are very comfortable. The only issue I have is one of the heels separated after only about 6 months of wear. I glued them back together and continue to wear them

Love these boys and have gotten numerous compliments when I have worn them. They are brand new, so I have only worn them a handful of times. They are snug in the forefoot, but not stiff like most dress boots and they should stretch out some as I wear them. That is the only reason I'm not giving a 5 yet, is the snug fit.

I think italian leather should be soft very soft. This shoes are great looking but very Hard to break in. It's not as comfortable as I would've hoped for. Top of the boot is very very hard. I gave it 4 stars because I like the J&M also because I like the shade of color. J&M go back to making the shoes I use to buy 20 years ago.

Very comfortable shoe that fits true to size. My only complaint is that it squeaks which hasn't gone away. I eventually gave up on the shoe and started wearing something else because the squeaking never went away.

Look great, good construction so far, just a little tight for me - my feet usually run wide.

love them. only annoying thing is that the laces need to retied each time you unzip and take them off...

This is my 2nd pair of J&Ms. I think the shoe looks great. Everything I expected. The style is nice enough for work but doesn't look too stuffy. I think the material is good quality, but in this case the color did leech into my socks at the top of the tongue of the shoe. Other than that, no complaints.

Great pair to get at a great price will keep my feet warm this winter love the color and I know the are comfortable if not I will let you know :grinning:

Great fitting boot -but not fond of the lace hooks at the top of the boot ,don't stay tied .

Strings do not stay tied. Have to double knot.

I bought a pair in Black and a pair in tan... Heels fell off on both pairs, fortunately I work at a car dealership so I had self tapping screws handy! I literally screwed the heels on and I'm still wearing them daily almost 2 years later... I just ordered 2 more pairs and I'll throw screws in the heels before I wear them because well... I absolutely fricken love them...

Looked great but after getting it I can sense the sole won't last long

The design is kind of odd. It doesn't really work to have a sidezip AND the shoelage hooks. When you unzip the boot, the laces on the hooks come undone and you have to redo them. Normally boots with a sidezip forego the hooks. That would be an improvement.

I have a few pairs for these boots. I have on my third pair. The first issue was related to zipper starting to unravel at the top of the boot. The second issue is that heel had came off. The zipper unraveling is common issue with these shoes for me. I have had two pair with this issue.

These boots are beautiful; however, after a few months, one of the boot heels started to split. J&M was not able to repair the boots, so I'll be getting them repaired myself. It would be great if a repair service was offered to eliminate waste. They were willing to replace the boots with a different pair, but I didn't want this pair to be discarded because of a defect. I will say that the boots are otherwise beautiful and seem good quality. The heels rub a bit so I have to use thick hiking socks with the boots, but that's my only other issue.

I was looking for something that I could wear with a suit or jeans however the booth it rather bulky and the color did not match what I expected.

Liked the style but not the fit. Felt too narrow, although I have high arches and might have something to do with it. Unfortunately, needed to return.

Bought these boots 2 months ago and the are sleek, comfortable, and stylish. Unfortunately while putting the boots today, as I zipped the side up on my right foot, a zipper tooth must have bent which is plastic the zipper came completely off. As I tried to slide the zipper on the side that it came off (from the top) both sides of the zipper broke. No the zipper pulled apart and that's it, boots are open and can't be closed. Previous versions were metal teeth, should have noticed when I bough the boots.
