I'm not sure why some found there to be little arch support. For a really light sandal, it is totally fine. Do not expect a heavy Dansko-like shoe here. Exceptionally comfortable. A little more color-rich than shown in photos, but still a gorgeous blue/green summery shade. You can't bend the soldsice, that's how steady it is. Very flattering. Great purchase. Comfortable in that way that nothing feels too tight. LOVE THESE!!!

I usually wear an 8/8.5 M, so I ordered a 39 as recommended. My toes were pushed up against the end of the shoe. I re-ordered a 40, and they were huge. Seemed almost like a size 10. The sizing just seems off on these shoes.

I wear an 8M, sometimes 8.5M, and my toes were at the very end of the shoe. I'll try the next size up,

I am SOOO thrilled that Sanita has brought back this classic! THANK YOU, SANITA! I have been looking for this shoe for years and every substitute or similar style is just not as good. These are way more comfortable than sneakers for me. Please keep producing this style! I bought the petrol and the color is as pictured--slightly grayish, slightly tealish medium-light blue. I'm actually pretty frugal with shoes but just returned to purchase this in the 2 other colors as it's the only shoe I'm going to wear and I know they last forever (hoping the old sole issue with cracking/disintegrating after several years when used in hot weather is solved, too) :)

Love the shoe do not like the color. It’s a faded terra cotta, somewhere between faded red and coral. So disappointing. I sent them back and got black.

So comfortable! It took me about 14 seconds to feel that my toes had enough room (I have a wide toe-span, but the leather has enough give). Tbh, I had dreaded ordering them because, um, the look. I tried several styles of Dansko (slightly look-ier), but ultimately I really needed the comfort, and luckily these look cuter on the feet than off. The day after they arrived, I wore them to work --no socks, lots of walking-- and feet were very happy all day. Black looks nice enough, if slightly hippie, with business casual pants. And this is true even though I am short with outsize feet (petite clothes, size 41 shoes). The cut of the toe makes it look a little less big.

I love the fit and style, but the color was not as bold as i like. If they come out with a leather version in true or brick red i will deffinitly get them.

This adorable shoe and I could have lived together happily ever after. Alas, they provide ZERO arch support. Back they go. I'm pretty sad. The petrol is a great color.

soft and comfortable. Wish they were offered in many other colors - navy, brown, caramel, etc. This particular pair arrived worn with creases in leather and scuff marks, so had to return. This is rarely a problem with Zappos, but figure it's helpful for Zappos to know.

The shoes were perfect just obviously worn before I got them. It was gross to be honest. I returned them. I have noticed this happening more frequently with Zappos. It's so sad because they quality control used to be top notch!

Very comfortable and plenty of room for my wide forefoot and curved-up big toes. If you have Sanita clogs, order the same size as your clogs. This sandal is true to European size , but the American size equivalent that was given for the 40 (8.5-9) is wrong. The 40 fits like a 9-9.5; 39 would be 8.5-9. And while the color says "khaki," it really should say army green. They are definitely green, not tan.

This is the ultimate middle-age artsy/craftsy mom shoe. I live in a Philadelphia neighborhood with one of the highest walk scores in the US. The first day I got these shoes, I walked 2 miles while chatting with my partner to a black box theater production of a Becket play and then walked to dinner and drinks afterwards. I didn't need to break in the shoes, all those foot miles on the first wear and no blisters! Wear the shoes with no socks, wear them with tights or go full Copenhagen fashion week and wear them with stripped tube socks. Seriously great shoes.

These did not work for me. The workmanship is excellent, the leather is very soft, and the footbed has just the right amount of cushion. But the heel strap was too wide, and my feet slipped out of the shoes when I walked. Tightening the front foot strap did not compensate for this issue. Perhaps it’s just the shape of my foot.

I love these shoes and I wish they came in more colors, espcially gray and red or burgundy! They are my go-to for important work days when I am presenting and/or need to look professional. I like the detail of the cutout in the top, which makes them just a little more special than the Dansko Mary Janes I also love. I love the khaki color, which looks more like Army green to me. Very neutral and works with almost anything. I wear a 40 in Dansko and a 41 in Sanita. These are a touch bigger than the Dansko 40, but just enough to make my feet feel a tad more comfy. Love them! Highly recommend.

I love this shoe! The style and color are fantastic! I am a nurse and on my feet all day, these are as comfortable as ever. I highly recommend Sanitas!

Love, love these shoes! I wore another Sanita pair like these for 11 years; looked everywhere for other shoes to fit my troublesome aging feet, and finally settled back with Sanita, except a half size larger than before. And they're beautiful as well as comfortable. Am so happy with them!

Fit was spot on. Could use a tiny bit more cushion but very comfy.

I am so excited to find these. I had this style by Dansko 15 years ago and loved them. Sadly I ruined them and have never seen any available since. Thank you Zappos and Sanita for resurrecting this style. Zappos recommendation for size was spot on. I usually take a 41 but needed a 42 in these. They even look like 41s. The arch could be higher for me but the shoe is too close to perfect not to keep.

Had to size up from usual European size but when I did the fit was perfect. Comfortable although I haven't worn but for a short period inside. Love the color.

I really ike this shoe. Ordered in my normal European size. Too short. Sized up one, then it was a perfect fit. My foot is slightly wide with a high instep. Very comfortable.

I love the look of the Sanita Margrethe but they didn't work for me. My ankle felt like it would twist easily in these clogs. I don't have the very good balance so I thought it best to return them and look for something else.

Fit great and they are cute but they had been returned worn!!!!!! There was a black asphalt pebble stick in the bottom.

Okay folks, it's not that I can't pick out one of my numerous pairs of crocs for any occasion needed, but I thought I might like a well fitting dressier, but casual also, sandalish black shoe with some height. And, this margreth by Sanita is perfection for woman whose past wearing traditional high heels. This was a great buy with quick delivery.
