I love these boots! I was nervous about the reviews but I took a chance and Im glad I did. I ordered an 8, which is the larger of the two sizes I typically wear based on other reviews and they fit great. They definitely run narrow. Ive seen that theyre difficult to get on and I felt that. I then noticed that there is a snap on the inside of the boot to release the harness ring so you can fully unzip the boot to get your foot in. The only reason Im giving 4 stars is because the top is a little snug (Im typically a wide calf boot person and definitely dont have dainty ankles). Im confident theyll break in and be extremely comfortable.

I always wear an 8 in Frye boots but these were much smaller and I had to size up.

I wanted to love these, and the overall design is great, but these are SO narrow. I have normal width feet and usually wear a size 7.5, and the width is not at all proportional with the length. I couldnt even get these on, and I unfortunately had to return them.

Lovely quality and great look, but super narrow. I ordered a half size up (9.5) from my usual 9 per other reviews. Too narrow and a little too long. They will be going back.

I'm glad that I took a chance on this boot. This is a top-notch quality leather boot. The reason I gave it a 4 is because it runs 1 size small. I normally wear size 9 but I ordered size 10 and it fits perfectly..

I ordered a pair for my daughter and one for myself. Neither of us could get the boot on. I take a 6.5 and ordered a 7.5. It still did not fit. The boot is beautiful! Very disappointed. Had to return.

To say I am highly disappointed in my customer service experience is an understatement. I placed an order for 2 pairs of Frye boots on 2/23/24. I received the boots and unfortunately they did not fit. I have had Frye boots in the past and have been very happy with them and in the past have been a good fit for me. I decided to call customer service to see if I could get further information on the fit of the boots and to see if ordering a bigger size was the correct answer or perhaps a different style. The first time I called I was on hold for about 10 minutes and then was disconnected. I called back the next day and was placed on hold and then received an automated message stating I should leave my name, telephone number and some one would get back to me. After at least 5 days with no call back, I decided to order the same boots from Amazon in a 1/2 size larger. In the meantime on 3/10/24, I put in a return request to Frye for the 2 pairs of boots I purchased. I sent the boots back and received confirmation the boots were received on 3/14/24. I sent an email, as you can see below, on 3/26 because I still had not received a confirmation email stating the return to my credit card was processed. I was told to give it a few more days. It is now 4/2 and I have yet to receive an email and/or a credit on my credit card. There have been 13 business days since you received my return. I know I sent the boots back in perfect condition because I could not get my foot into themthey were never even worn at all. This was the reason I originally called because I have had Frye boots in the past and they have always fit me well. I thought perhaps I could get a CSR on the phone and ask some questions about the fit of the boots I ordered or different styles. Since I never received a return call, I decided to return the 2 pairs of boots. So not only did I receive terrible customer service (none at all), I havent received any confirmation the return has been processed and still no credit on my credit card. Also, the bill is due this week so Im paying an extra almost $500 to avoid paying interest. This is awful service and could easily be avoided. No company takes over 13 business days to process a return. The 1/2 size larger I ordered from Amazon did not fit either. I requested a return, received the return authorization and mailed the boots back. I received a credit to my credit card the next day. Its unfortunate, The Frye Company has beautiful boots, but terrible customer service. It is now going on day 17 (business days that is) since I began the return process with your company and still no credit.

good looking boot but too difficult to get on/off even with zipper entry. I sized up 1/2 size to 7.5 as suggested but could not get my foot in the right boot and struggled to get on the left boot. I love my 18-year-old harness boots yet was hoping for an easy on/off zipper boot. had to return boots.

Worn twice and already starting to break in and get comfortable. My last pair lasted for 10 years. Still in decent shape, but I wanted a fresh pair. I normally wear an 8.5 to 9. The 8.5 fit me perfect.

The harness keeps the zipper from working. the zipper wont even go to the bottom so that I can get my foot in the boot. Poor design

These boots do not fit, they are still in the shipping box and need to be returned. Would someone please send an authorization so they can be sent back for a refund?

Its a beautiful looking boot. However, the top edges of the boot rubs the legs above the ankles and causing pain. I am unable to walk in them because of this pain. There is no issue when Im at rest and not walking. Unfortunately going to return. Poorly designed for functional wear.

Two different sizes between the left and right boot. I couldn't get one on.

Lovely boots

They are gorgeous and so cool! I have 2 pair of harness boots already that I have worn for decades with taller shafts and I wanted a pair of short ones that don't feel so "clunky". I will wear these for the rest of my life! I love the Frye quality craftsmanship and style! One thing though, I forgot to check the size of my old boots before ordering and these run a little small compared to my normal shoe size, so I had to return them for the next size up. They arrived today and I am thrilled!!

Perfect fit once I went a half size up. These are probably my favorite boots from Frye and I have 5 pairs so far. I would highly recommend them for the style, comfort, and durability.
