I have several pairs of Asics, but this style ran short

This is an excellent runner which improves gait when used regularly. I think the mesh material is too delicate and holes form far too quickly thereby reducing the lifespan of the shoe. Taking into account the cost of the runner which is high, more durable materials around and on top of the toes would be very beneficial.

I bought these 2 months ago and already the upper mesh in both shoes has worn through. I have worn Asics for 25 years and normally I love them but not this pair.

These shoes are a little narrow and were tight for me. Also they did not fit my custom orthotics. As cute as they are, I returned them.

The show was tight in the middle, had to return it. But the colors and quality looked great. It was unfortunate that it had to be returned

Fit and size was pretty good, although the tongue is very soft so the laces are a bit uncomfortable. Also my big toe will go through the top of any shoe that is only a lightweight mesh on top with no toe guard-- so sure enough I have a hole in the top of these in a couple of months

Had the 2000 8 loved them, have two pairs. But these hurt my knees and don’t feel like they’ve as much cushioning. Sadly returning them.

The lacing system on the latest model SUCKS!!! They come with flat skimpy laces with no give or stretch that kind of hurt your fingers lacing them up. The new style seems to force you to use these horrible flat laces because the lacing hole are a weird shape and design. I hate it. I just want to be able to use normal laces!
This is my go to running shoe that I love but I’m taking stars off for the new lace design.

Previous reviews recommended ordering a half size up for wide feet. I have narrow feet, and found the width true to size, but still had to order a half size up for length. Also, note that the heel hugs ankles snuggly. This can be good for narrow heels, but the amount that the heel comes up and in toward the back of the ankle is not typical and may not be right for everyone.

I purchased two pair of this same shoe at the same time. One fit fine. The other was narrower in the arch area. They seemed to be slightly irregular. The pair I kept seem fine.

These shoes seem 1/2 size smaller than normal. I have worn these shoes for years and never had this problem, but these seem different to me. I prefer the previous models to this one. I would recommend the previous version or go 1/2 size larger. I would highly recommend a different model that is consistent with previous models.

I have been wearing the GT 2000 series for years. I've been increasingly disappointed with the last 3 pairs I bought because they keep getting holes in the toe box. One pair started to tear only after a couple of runs. I've tried other brands and they are more durable but I end up with knee pain on longer runs. Wish Asics would fix this problem.

They felt too narrow compared to Cumulus, challenger and Kayano.

I only wear Asics because I know some models have good arch support and they last.

These shoes hurt my feet just walking around the living room. That was after loosening the laces as much as I comfortable could to get them on. I have never had a wide foot, but these shoes felt really narrow. So much so all I remember about trying them on is the discomfort.

Too much soft cushy cushion under my feet. I prefer more stable sole ( Brooks Bedlam 2) for running. If you’re using these for just everyday I’m sure they’re fine.
I also like the Gel Kayano older versions for more arch support & stability. TTS if anything 1/2 size small.

I have been wearing this model for years and like others, I keep getting a hole in the mesh above my big toes. this has happened for the last year. I thought it was me but I see others having the same issue. it’s occurred on at least 7 pairs. not sure what to do ;(

These shoes fit well and were comfortable but the tread on the bottom is wearing down very quickly. After only wearing them for a couple weeks the tread on the bottom has almost worn down to a smooth surface. These will not last long at this rate. This is disappointing since they are comfortable to wear. I will not purchase again because I need a shoe that lasts longer!

Dear Asics,
I began wearing your women's shoes starting with cumulus 15 , nimbus 16 and the last pair I bought was the nimbus 17s. I bought 2 pairs because I loved those shoes so much and I still wear them til this day. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I decided to buy a new pair of shoes and went with no doubt to purchase Asics nimbus again. I tried nimbus 21, 22 and 23s only to be disappointed with how they felt. The 23s were better than the 21 and 22 but still to narrow and restricted in the toe box and midsole. Also, the midsole and the arch did not feel as comfortable or as cushioney as the 17 s either. Another change was not enough cushion under my toes as well. The shoes overall felt stiff like walking on cardboard. I feel like the new foam technology is not the same as the 17s or previous models. In the past I have always loved Asics shoes because of their wide and roomy toe box and very cushioney support. I tried the gt 2000 9 to see if they would be better but they still didn't fit my feet right. I hope Asics will go back to the way nimbus used to feel like using the nimbus 17s as a guide. I won't give up on you Asics, I will keep checking back and trying your shoes.

I have a very narrow foot and the shoes were too wide (AA), even with an insert. I would also recommend ordering a size larger as they were also too short. I had to return.

I love Asics and am a loyal fan. However, I got these in April and they already have a hole above the big toe. The material there should be reinforced and its very thin.

I usually take a size 9 medium width. This shoe is super tight across the top of the foot even without having the laces tied. Narrow toe box and felt a quater size too small as my toes are wanting to push through the front of the shoe. I have kept them as a back up pair.
This is my second pair of this style. The blue ones I bought prior fit really well. Where has standard sizing gone? Acisc you've let me down with this pair.
