I can't say enough good things about these shoes. They just just arrived, and I'm already very happy with them. One thing that has really impressed me about them so far, is how light they are. I wear a size 17, and have worst mostly heavy shoes for a lot of years, but these are super comfortable and light.

Super comfortable for my HIIT workouts and short runs with my husky. Relatively lightweight but extremely stable, and the mesh knit keeps your feet very cool.

I usually get the Kayanos but I wanted to try something different. This shoe is on par with the Kayano. If you like the Kayano you will like this.

Light as a feather, but still offers the support my feet need. By far my best shoe purchase in a few years. I can only hope that when I need some new shoes again these will still be in production.

The fit is perfect, same as my old Asics Gel Flux 4 sneaks. The gel in the entire footed is very comfortable.

the GT-2000 9 is has better pricing benefit for getting the same and best overpronate wearing feature and walking/running cushion than any of the Gel-Kayano, even though the Gel-kayano is better looking but a little bit more pricy this time around.
I still owe 3 pairs of Gel-Kayano in time upgrade numbers.

I have occasionally given other ASICS models (and even other brands) a try, but I keep coming back to the GT-2000, and the 9 is another winner. They are light, comfortable, and feel pretty stable. I'm not a competitive runner, but at 6'3" and 195 lbs, I'm sure my shoes take a beating with each run, and the GT-2000 seems to be able to handle it well. I will likely stick with them in the future.

The shoes seem to be true to size marked. The width is a bit loose for my narrow foot (C) but I have always had to adjust my lacing to make a (D) fit a lot better

My son loves his new athletic shoes. He had some heal pain from running in gym class in his Air Force 1 so decided to forgo style for support. He says his asics are very comfortable (heal pain has resolved) and he even chooses to wear them over his AF1 for comfort. I never thought I’d see this day!

These shoes are for my son - good fit on a wide foot. He is a very heavy pronator, so we chose this shoe specifically. So far, he says it will take some getting used to - his old shoes allowed his heavy pronation, and these shoes resist that inward lean on his foot. I think they will be good overall, but will see how it goes as he works them in...
