Nice fit, very comfortable. I usually buy new orthotics when I get a new pair of Asics, but these seem to have sufficient support without them.

Have worn ASICS for 25 years and these are true to size. Also, pleased that the "toe area" has adequate room unlike some of the ASICS 4-5 years ago which caused me to buy a couple of pairs of Brooks. Very pleased with fit, style and color.

Im flat-footed and wear a size 16. This model Asics felt like I had shock absorbers under my feet.

The GT2000 has been my running shoe for over ten years. Perfect for me and I still wear them. But had to return this pair because ASICS has decided to put cheap “flat” laces on some of the colors (instead of the traditional round or oval laces). The color I just ordered had the cheap laces. My shoes would not stay tight and snug and would slip when running. Be careful to look at the photos if this matters to you. Maybe some folks like the flat laces. I returned and ordered the same model but different color with the oval laces. I notice some of the new colors just added have returned to the oval laces. I’m not giving this shoe low stars because it is my favorite. I hope ASICS will be more descriptive and consistent and avoid too much change to a really, really good running shoe.

These shoes were purchased for my teen who has very flat feet and extreme over pronation. The Asics GT-2000 9 provide the needed support for a healthy gait. He describes them as comfortable and stylish.
