These boots are great. Not sure why the reviews are so bad. They run 1/2 to a full size small, so go up a size. They start out a little stiff but break in after a week. Super waterproof and moderately warm. I can wear them all day.

I really like these but they are just too tight. I tried to work them in a bit but seemed to not give a whole lot and left a mark on my foot. Oddly the left boot fit better than the right so maybe it’s a defect or I have asymmetrical feet. Lol I would exchange for another pair but typically Zappos doesn’t have any in the size up. Part of the the stripe was peeling too and would have returned them regardless. Really bummed cause they are an awesome pair of boots.

I agree with other reviewers that these were uncomfortable out of the box, they hit the back of my ankle in a weird spot. But as with most shoes that I love the look of, I commited to them and after 2 weeks, they are perfect! So cute, functional for snow and puddles, and very warm. These will be a great addition to my boot inventory for lower snow days and slushy spring messes.

Loved these...wish they worked. The height of the ankle support was too high and stiff. Hit in an uncomfortable spot.

Really cute but really stiff and uncomfortable for me.

I wanted to like these boots, because they're so nice-looking and seem like they'd be comfy. But they're not; they're WAY too small, stiff, and very uncomfortable. I could barely get my foot in the shoe, they're so stiff. And there's an odd part of the shoe's tongue that hits the top of your foot/toes wrong, so even if I did size up I think they'd still hurt. I'm always very consistently a women's 5.5/6, and ordered a 6 and they were way too small (even while wearing very thin socks). I'd have to go up at least a full size to accommodate thicker socks, but instead I'm just sending them back.

I wanted to love these shoes but they’re incredibly uncomfortable. I couldn’t stand wearing them. It felt like a ski boot- stiff and pressing on my ankle.

I cannot judge the size or support really because I also ordered a women's 8 and was sent a men's 8, women's 9.5. They were really stiff and cut into my leg in a really uncomfortable spot. Had to return them.

My wife loves them! They fit the same as all her other Vans. She hasn't had a chance to wear them in the snow yet.

I am usually a size 8 in womans I ordered a 9 because in some reviews people were saying they run small. I will be wearing thick socks when I wear them so the size 9 were a perfect fit. We have not had snow yet so I'm not sure how warm or waterproof they are I will update my review when I get to try them out.
