I was disappointed in these shoes and had to return them. They were narrow enough that they pinched my toes. Although this is a personal fitting problem I also felt that the leather was uncomfortably stiff. At this price point the leather should be a better quality. I think Rockport's quality has declined.

I like the style, and the fit generally was fine - the length, width and instep support - but the strap is a velcro strap and limited in how much I could tighten it. It was too little and the shoes then felt overly loose, so I am returning them.

I was looking for a shoes to wear and walk at work 8 hours a day. But these difficult to wear for more than 2 hours. Too tight on my metatarsal. I've to return and pay for the shipping. I usually wear size 5/5 in Clarks shoes but I ordered size 6 to be on the safe side. Still unsatisfied with my first Rockport purchase.
