Love them! Perfect fit, and so comfortable!

I love this boot! Super cute, comfortable, fits true to size, waterproof, and love that I don't have to mess with the bottom of my jeans to keep them tucked in or turned up. Wore them an entire 10 hrs right out of the box with absolutely no issues. Will be ordering them in the black also.

These are very nice boots. They are we and fit perfectly with good support. I usually wear a size 7.5-8 and I ordered an 8 so I could wear socks. The only reason I sent them back was the color was a bit more gray than I wanted. I guess I was looking for a bit more distress. I would still highly recommend them.

I bought these and the Born Shasta. These Sofft boots (ironically enough) are definitely way less soft than the Born Shasta. The Shasta are buttery and flexible from the first time putting them on. These—the Sofft Sharnell Waterproof—will take time to break in and are a lot more stiff around the ankles. That said, I did end up keeping both (in rather different hues, though they are both called “taupe”) because the Sofft Sharnell are much better for wet weather with the waterproofing, a thicker feeling sole, more support in the ankle, and a distressed look that won’t immediately show drip marks. I can throw on some of my thick smartwool socks with these (Sharnell) to break them in and stay warm and dry in any weather. These look cute with fleece lined leggings and a skirt or jeans. I really like their character-a little bit boho, a little bit country.

Most commonly I am a size 8 but I first ordered an 8.5 because of reviews. Found the 8.5 to be too loose so I ordered an 8. The 8 fit much better. I have one foot that’s a bit narrow and another a bit wide and both feet work well. Very comfortable. I love the lace backing. I would have liked it to be tighter in the leg … the lace can’t be adjusted tighter but probably could be made to be bigger if needed. Very soft and pretty colors.

These cute boots are exactly what I’d been looking for. Unfortunately, the fit was strange in that when I tried them on, they made my feet tilt inward. Weird. Since I’d be wearing them for lots of walking that would be a problem. Researched inserts to change the tilt but could not find anything to help with that. So sorry to send back. I like looking at them but I need to be able to put them on and wear them. Thank you Zappos for the ‘Best in Online Shopping EVER’ experience.

For whatever reason, with this brand, I always need to size up a 1/2 size. These are being returned. I will order a 1/2 size up from my standard size.

too large. Ordered a pair a few years ago and it fit great, but this one is slightly longer (compared it to my old pair) and much bulkier -- Heel was completely loose when I walk -- it was build for a heel that's probably at least 2inches high - which is ridiculous for a 6.5 womens size

I wear size 7.5 but bought size 8 based on a couple reviews. They were too big in both the toe and heel so I exchanged them for size 7.5--a much better fit if slightly narrow. Loved the grey color. Unfortunately, the leather felt stiff and rigid and the insoles had very little padding and arch support, making the boots uncomfortable and unlikely to soften. Had to return.

Nice boots, but sizing feels off. It looks big but I feel very tight after putting it on. I usually wear medium width but this pair is too tight even with thin socks. Have to return and look for others.

Beautiful boot, great fit, color and width. I was so excited about this boot. I have been searching for years for the right boot and I thought these were the ones. Both boots have a half inch stripe down the center. I wiped them with my hand to see if it was the suede but it didn’t go away. Sorry I have to return them. I just hope the the next pair fit as well as these. Fingers crossed.

These felt so narrow! I do have a wider foot but usually fit in regular B-width. I couldn't even get my foot into this. Otherwise, beautiful leather and styling.

The first time I wore the shoes the zipper broke taking them off. I'm disappointed in such a low quality with the high price. I was hoping these boots would last me many years.

I have had a very disappointing experience with this boot. I have ordered and returned the boot multiple times due to poor construction, color differentiation and broken zippers. I wanted to love this boot however for the price paid I feel like this boot is not worth the money.

Got these today , in size 8 . I usually wear a size 7, going to return these , sadly . One foot it felt good the other foot felt to tight . Was able to zip both up though

These are beautiful boots, great style, leather is so soft. Had to return because a broken little toe has a mind of it's own now and one shoe was too tight.

These are really nice boots. They are well-sewn and well-designed. Depending on the brand, I can take between a 6.5 and a 7. Width plays a role---narrow means usually too small for me in a 6.5. These didn't come in a 7, so I hoped for the best. If these came in an available 7, I would have kept them.

My new favorite shoes!!!!!! I absolutely love these boots with dresses shirts jeans leggings anything!!!!! I got taupe I’m a typical narrow to medium width size 9 or 9.5 and I ordered 9.5 according to size chart and they are perfect. Ordering black ones today!

Absolutely love these boots, but they are to big. I can wear 5/6 but these were a tad to big. Love the style the leather. Definitely recommend!

No break-in period. Very comfortable — and I have picky, painful feet. I wish they didn't lace up the back, because the laces are unnecessary and look clunky and rather silly, but I put up with it because they are waterproof and I can walk in them for miles without discomfort.

I have very difficult feet and found these to be comfortable, even for long distances. They look nice with skirts and have decent support. I could do without the unnecessary laces but I’ll put up with that quirk for a versatile, waterproof boot I can rely on.
