Amazingly comfortable. Wish more shoes and boots had these softer rubber soles and heels which offer comfort and safety. I wish they came in more colors, too, like burgundy, navy, olive. The waterproofing is a bonus.

These boots in black suede are as beautiful as the pair I bought in “whisky” back in October. They are a deep, rich black with shiny leathery tips and heels that remind me of a “spectator” shoe. I am the pickiest person I know when it comes to shoe comfort. These boots fit like a dream on my achy feet and are generous in the toebox for my sensitive hammertoes. The soles are thick yet flexible with decent arch support. If I were allowed to have only two pairs of boots in my life, I would choose these in black and whisky without hesitation. One caveat: if you have wide calves, these are not the boots for you. Although the laces in the back allow some room for adjustment, the width of the shanks are for narrower calves only. If you have slim calves like mine, what are you waiting for? Buy them in your size and favorite color before they sell out! They will enhance most outfits in your wardrobe. Did I say that I love these boots?

My go-to boot, works well over slim jeans, under boot leg jeans, and with skirts. Adjusts all the way down for thin legs. Comfortable for at least a mile of city walking! Leather needs constant maintenance, it’s not very durable.

As other buyers have said, this boot is beautiful, but the leather is not of the buttery kind. It's a lower quality leather - it is stiff and so, keeps its shape on your leg. The boot is narrower than my other boots and uncomfortably tight across my arch and toes, so I'm hoping that I can stretch them out by wearing them around my house as orher buyers have said they did.

A tiny bit snug for my usual socks but will wear often, for hours, because they are very comfortable, otherwise. My main complaint: my legs look good from years of biking, but these boots are made for Really skinny legs, I extended laces 100%.

I loved the warm brown color boots so I bought the grey and the light tan color. Okay, the grey is perfect and doesn't have the exaggerated wearing on the heel and toe shown in the pictures. It's there but it is minimal. As for the "cashmere" color, I expected it to be more of a warm blond like the picture, but it is less war. It has a light deerskin look. It is a very pretty color but I kept the grey instead. If you order it, you will probably like it but just know that it is a cooler tone. The grey is exactly as expected. It goes with almost everything the warm brown doesn't. It also matches a grey sheepskin bucket hat I've had for several years and had nothing to pair it with. Great buy.

These are fantastic. They are a little pointer in the toe than I like, but not so much that I wouldn't wear them. The heel shape and height are exactly as I like them. The rubber grip bottom is wonderful. I don't understand smooth bottom boots that are just for show. The leather is nice and stiff. They are starting to mould to my leg and when I take them off, they stay standing. Not flimsy. I have small ankles but I run, so I have medium calves. These are fitted enough in the ankle portion to not give me the "cankles" I get from most boots. Not too loose or tight to have the leather rub. I love lace up boots for this reason. The laces are substantial so I shouldn't have to ever replace them. Very sexy like a corset for my legs. It makes an old sweatshirt dress look stylish. I also have wide feet (7w or 7xw). 7.5 fits just fine, like my Born boots of that size. I only wish the were as padded inside. The bourbon color is exactly as expected and very closely matches a leather crossbody I have. I would love these in the coffee brown (which is about like my hair, or the grey suede. However, those colors seem to have that pre-distressed look that I hate. The coffee brown looks blotchy in the pictures, which is not hold old leather wears out naturally. The grey looks like they rubbed asphalt or grease on the heel and toe. I don't understand this. I love buying new things that look new and they will wear out naturally on their own. This just looks ridiculous and ruins very expensive and pretty new boots. So to sum it up, the size is about right and not so narrow that wide feet can't wear them with a half size up. Not as padded as I expect for boots this price, but I don't have sensitive feet. Heel height is good for normal use. I wore them climbing ladders and putting up Christmas lights. Leather is nice and thick. Some colors are designed to look stupid.

The boot is beautiful. Color is not at all what I see online. Camel and Hazelwood are not at all as it shows on screen. I’m a 71/2- I ordered a size up- an 8. I read another review and it said they run a bit smaller. I was glad to read that. I will wear my compression socks but not the wool socks with these bc they won’t fit. But overall the boot is quite nice.

The boots are stylish and mostly comfortable. I have a high instep, so I need to really push my foot in. Once my foot is in, it feels great. I’m not concerned about this as I’ve had this issue with boots in the past. I did have to let out the laces as my calves are larger. Overall, I’m pleased.

These boots are SHARP! I've gotten a few compliments on them in the short time I have had them. That being said, I emphatically advise to ORDER A HALF SIZE UP if you plan on wearing boot socks or anything thicker than thin socks or tights. The Sofft brand is excellent. I have worn my Sofft brand sandals with heels to work daily and my feet are not tired after wearing all day. They are GREAT. I knew that I would be please with Sofft brand boots, too. I just wish that I had ordered a larger size.

I bought what they call "light brown." Sofft actually labels it as "dark cashmere," which somehow seems like a better description of the color. When I look at them I'm not seeing "brown," it's more of a taupe, with a little bit of a gray tone to it. I have a pair of Sofft booties and these fit exactly the same through the foot and ankle. I usually wear a 9.5, but I wear a 10 in many boots, including these. My calves are probably a little larger than average--when I try wide-calf styles they are often too loose, but regular are sometimes too tight. This boot is nice because the laces allow a more customized fit around the calf. It took me ages to get them laced the way I wanted them for a good fit, but once done, there is no need to re-do it because you use the zipper for on/off. I also like the heel height--not too high, but not flat either.

Super pretty on but a bit narrow at the front...since they are suede I’m hoping they’ll stretch a bit. Hopefully, if they stretch, I’ll be able to wear an insert to add cushioning which it definitely needs.

Very comfortable boots with good insoles (padded). I like the color a LOT. These boots may be great for some peeps, for me however, they felt a little too casual and cowboyish (low heel...).

These are good quality boots and I almost kept them but the style just didn’t cut it for me. Maybe the toe was too rounded or they weren’t high enough; either way they didn’t have the stylish look I was looking for (at $200). They seem basic but I’m picky about boots.

These are super comfortable with a great, customizable fit. I appreciate the quality of the boot. For me, however, they didn’t meet the style requirement: toe was too rounded, colors weren’t rich enough (I ordered brown & taupe- both flat). They looked basic- I don’t wear basic boots sorry ;)

Very tight in the toe box, and they put a lot of pressure on the upper part of my foot. I have narrow feet and these were very tight, though they fit in length. I did like how adjustable they were in the width of the calf. The two boots were a different color, with one of them being much more red than the other. Also, they were much more country/cowboy boots when on than I expected.
