I love all of the Stanley products! We use at least two out of five mugs everyday. I look forward to many more in the years to come

I've been using this mug on a daily basis and have dish washed it and hand washed it and it holds up well really love this mug and i hope it lasts me forever so far i've owned it for a little over a year. I own a few of Stanley-pmi products and they all are well designed, although every product has its flaws but i can say that this is pretty close to perfect but that is just my opinion you'll have to test it yourself.

I now own two of these mugs and really enjoy them. I have been using my first for over a year. They are the perfect size and configuration for travel or home use and they retain proper heat for many hours. They are also well designed to protect from spillage should you inadvertently tip the thermos over. Though the lid can be a litter cantankerous from time to time it is easily sorted if you take the time to fiddle around with the latch. Should the pivoting lid be difficult to close just push it in toward the center while it is still in the open position. If you still have difficulty take the lid off the thermos and push and pull the pivot lid while in the open position and you'll eventually figure out the adjustment. It may seem frustrating, but once you understand how to work around it you'll understand why I appreciate the quality of this thermos.

This thermos is very good. I have used Stanley products for years and have gone through numerous iterations. This particular thermos is well thought out and is extremely comfortable and useful for everyday carry and for travel. I take it everywhere I go and clip it to my backpack when not in use. As for the lid it works and seals very well. The secondary locking mechanism is where it appears so many have had issues. In my experience what seems to happen is the lock, with use, loosens over time, but the play happens only while the lid flat is open. The lock remains secure when the lid flap is closed. Now despite the locking mechanism having play it will not slide off unless the mechanism is forced forward into it's locking position while the flap is open. This should not present problems for most people since the locking mechanism shouldn't be used while one is drinking. The times I found myself sliding the mechanism off were only while cleaning the lid. The benefit of it's removal is a more thorough cleaning. Also, reattaching the mechanism once the lid has been cleaned is very intuitive since there is only one of two ways it can slide back on. Despite the design issues associated with the locking mechanism the benefits of this thermos far out way the issues with the lock.

I work construction so my mug needs to take some abuse and believe me this one does. I really like the easy drinking design of the lid. Read several reviews about the lid breaking. I have found no problems as of yet. I highly recommend this product.

Bought my first one December 2019. Starbucks manager explained the lid operation, cleaning instructions, and disassembled (field stripped) it for me. I then did the operation and thought I had it down pat. Should have done it ten times while there as I discovered the instructions and miniature pictorials of putting the lid back together. Bought two more last week for my youngest daughter and a long standing good friend of mine. Cup thermally works well in both cold and hot instances. Just wish you could slip a Starbucks straw in it for cold drinks.

I am a huge fan of Stanley's product. I had the previous model for 5 years but since they introduced the new style lid I wanted to give it a try. It was great until the lid broke in about 3 months into use. I called the customer service, they sent out the replacement part in the mail right away. I used it for a year with the new lid, then the handle broke off. So, again, I called the customer service for the replacement part. They mailed me a new mug with a sincere apology. While I was waiting for the replacement part, I went back to using my previous model Stanley mug that lasted 5+ years without any issue other than the occasional coffee stain on my shirts due to my own negligence. The bottom line, the twin lock mouth piece lid could be hit or miss. I do love the new locking system because I can throw my mug into my go-to leather bag without worrying about if my stuff will be covered with coffee stains when I get to work. Plus, I didn't burn my tongue as much as I have with my old mug's lid.

The mug has good heat retention, very secure top, and holds a lot of coffee. My downside is I'm right handed so when I'm at work using my mouse, the handle is only right handed. I'd like to be able to use the handle with my left hand.

This is a great thought and good cup, but the twin lock design on the cap/ lid is junk. It didn't last me 30 days before the pieces started falling apart. Now I'm waiting to get a new lid and have this all over again. It's just a bad design on the twin lock.

The mug itself is excellent with hot and cold, however the lid latching mechanism is not very durable. Leaves a bit of room for improvement.

I want to give this mug FIVE stars...but I can't. It keeps my coffee hot for HOURS, doesn't spill a drop, and the lid is easy to drink from. That being said, I started having trouble with the locking mechanism within two months of owning it and by 9 months it broke. If there is a way to make this lid mechanism work without it breaking, I will immediately give this mug 5 stars.

I only gave it three stars because the twin lock slyde broke the first day. Also, it doesn't keep my coffee hot, and I already have a warranty claim in.... Maybe request me another survey after I get my replacement.. screw-top is for right-handed only... the way the coffee dispensers out of the mug however is perfectThank you

Please make a video on how to dismantle the top for a thorough cleaning. The directions that came with the mug are not the greatest.

This mug does exactly what I purchased it for, except after only a couple weeks, the lid will no longer close which means I end up with coffee everywhere.

This is absolutely the worst lid design, it is a constant battle to make it work. I would not recommend this just because of the lid!

I own a dozen Stanley products like thermos, mugs, beer steins, or lunch boxes/coolers, made in Nashville and newer ones. I got myself this travel mug and the plastic lid broke after two weeks while cleaning it. I had it replaced assuming it had a defect. The new one had its lid broken the very same day I got it just by opening it. IMO, this lid does not suit Stanley standards.

LOVE these mugs, but the tops often can't/won't screw on so that the mouthpiece is aligned the same each time . It's hard to drink from because the handle and mouthpiece are in odd relations to each other each time I screw the lid on.

Love the handle and the ring for clipping onto bags and clips. But the lid broke after two uses, like it enough that I hope parts are available.
