Lid has broken twice. Also, the replacement lids only comes in black which does not match the classic Stanley green.

I was disappointed. It does not hold hot drink as stated. It would take about 30mins - 1 hr and then my coffee will be cold.

I hate the twin lock lid. It never worked properly. The locking piece came off and now won't go back on. Useless. I tried contacting Stanley but got a generic email response. No follow up or results. Do not buy the twin lock.

Love the mug. Hate the lid. Lid broke after it's first use and I have not been able to replace just the lid. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Mainly for travel to & from work. Lid is shotty design, cheaply made, I expected better from Stanley.
This is my 4th cup that broke in 2 years.
Come on Stanley guys we expect better

I use this everyday for work. Carry by hand to work, but it's unfortunate that the lid fails to close. Otherwise I'd place in my bag.

Love the way it looks but that's it. Not leak proof and lid hard to screw in. The lock broke after a few uses

This 20oz mug seemed to be the ticket but im on my 3rd one. I need something that seals well but the mechanism on the lid becomes faulty over a very short amount of time. Other than that it keeps my coffee hot. But im going to search for a new manufacturer!

The locking lid broke the first day, but customer service is sending a new lid that's back ordered 30 days. Go back to the old lid design--it worked great and was easy to open and shut the flap with a thumb, or at least make it so the old lids work on this new model (I saved old lids and they will not securely fit).
And get rid of the handle--you don't need one (I've snapped mine off on both models) because it's for only right handed drinkers.

The lock fell off on the first use, can't find anything on how it goes back on. I am getting a little sick of buying Stanley products because first the Thermos lid broke then the lunch box won't close not I bought a mug and it fell apart on first use, I mean come on.

Stanley should be ashamed to sell this thermos. The company knows the lid will break shortly after using. They don't care you spend your your hard earned money on such a shabby broken product with their name on it. SHAME ON STANLEY.

Just like everybody else. The lid is garbage. Mug isn't cheap either. I always bought Stanley products for mugs, bottles and camping cookware. To me it was always a no-brainer: Stanley=Quality. What happened? Is the company now cutting on quality control and materials used? Sure hope not.

I bought this at Starbucks on a military base and two weeks later the lid is completely non-functional. What a disappointment and it wasn't cheap.
I want my money back.

We bought 4 of these mugs and I love how hot they keep my coffee, but the breaking lid makes it useless. They should just recall this pieces of garbage.

I recently got this cup to replace another Stanley that finally died. While initially impressed with the overall cup, the lid design is awful. Unlocking, opening, drinking, closing, and relocking the lid shouldn't take the complete disassembly of the lid, nor should it take ten minutes of fiddling around to get the pieces correctly aligned. This issue completely negates any positives this cup had as a travel mug.

Bought this travel mug for hubby at Christmas and the lid stopped locking a month after. It was a mug he liked since it kept the temperature well. The old Stanley thermos he has still works like a charm with no issues. Back to the place do purchase it goes.

The cup design is greatly improved, but the new design of the lid bombed. Why redesign something that wasn't broken too. the older design worked well, just needed to be made to work for the new cup. it snapped close. the lid lock design doesnt function really at all anymore. it worked for a week and now to LOCK the lid, I have to unscrew the lid and squeeze the parts together. Probably something to do with not being able to clean it that well, which is another criticism. I was able to dismantle the lid to an extent, but not everything comes apart, which is where something is still inside. its cumbersome to clean even to that extent and so reduces the functionality of the cup. I really like the quality of Stanley products, so it really hurts to write a negative review on this cup. Ive used many Stanley products and they stand behind everything they make, but this here cup, they need to go back to the drawing board and start again with the lid. the lid on the French press looks more functional and maybe would be a better design to use on this lid. Stanley, I hope you come out with another design for the lid and make things right!!

I really liked this mug when I got it as a secret Santa gift at work, I think I said "this is the best secret Santa gift I have ever gotten". However within 2 weeks into Jan, and the lid broke and will not seal, effectively making the mug useless. I will be contacting Stanley about this product.

Gave it as a Christmas gift and less than two weeks into January the lid mechanism broke. This completely prevents it from sealing. This is not the first review that says this either. Really disappointed with this kind of quality.
