Tight around my calf and I got a blister when first wearing them. I will continue to break then I'm but this purchase was just so so for me

This pair is not as good as my original Bogs. The top is too wide and I constantly get hay, straw and bedding in the boot. They keep my feet warm and are comfortable. The fit is nicer than other muck boots.

First of all, the handles. Truly what is the point? Not once have I used them to pull on the boots, but they do make it that much easier for water or snow to get in. Who thought putting giant holes in the sides of footwear meant for wearing in water was a good idea? I was thrilled when these first arrived and the first day I wore them my feet were dry and warm in the snow. However, as soon as the inevitable happened and they got wet inside, I found it nearly impossible to get them to dry out in the foot area, meaning my feet were constantly damp and clammy. A horrible feeling. As soon as things warm a bit I will go back to my Hunter Boots, with no handle holes and which dry out fast. Overall I am not impressed with Bogs so far.

This boot does well in the snow and wet, but the temperature rating is extremely overstated. I was wearing them in 28 to 30 degree snowy weather with heavy socks, and my toes were freezing in a very short amount of time. Unfortunately it's too bulky to really be just a rain boot.

I am somewhere in the middle because these boots are pretty expensive. I got the wide calf boots and that part fits great. However the actual foot part is quite narrow so they start to hurt after a little bit of wearing them. They are said to be good for up to -30 degrees, I have been in weather above ) and my feet are definitely still cold so I dont think that is up to description. While I enjoy the plain black it would have been nice to have other options in the wide calf as well.

Prosreally does fit a wide calf which I was thrilled about. Nice height. Classic bogs look. conand a major conbogs sizing is quite inconsistent. i have had multiple size 10 bogs before which fit me properly and these size 10s are too small so I need to send them back.

Happy that I have a pair of boots that fit however I little disappointed in the weight of them.
Their heavier than I thought they be. Maybe there is some way that can be communicated in the Website.

I have debated buying these boots for years and this winter was finally the time to make the big purchase! I always wear a 6.5 in any style shoe. I originally purchased the 6 and had to send back for a 7 because they were fairly snug. Size 7 came and they are a bit big, but I figure with heavier socks this is probably the better option. They are somewhat slick on ice and packed snow. Not what I expected. I am a person who is cold most of the time, especially my feet and hands. After reading others reviews, I had big hopes for my feet finally staying warm. I would say these boots might be a bit better than others as far as warmth, but not life changers. If I am going to be outside for longer than an hour or so, I still wear toe warmers. So, I have watched my kids wear and love BOGS for years and was so excited to join the "I love my boots club". Sadly, these did not meet my expectations. I am not completely giving up hope and will try another style, but really wish these were working out better.

Bought for my son, they are heavy a bit clunky, get higher ones if you want to keep the snow out. Good mud, rain boots though.

I love my mid height classic Bogs which I've had for many years. I use Bogs in the garden in the summer and to shovel snow all winter. I purchased a new pair of the classic high because my old boots somehow sustained a rip in the foot that made them no longer waterproof. The only concern I have is that new classic high is a stiffer boot, not as comfortable as the mid-height. When I asked customer service if the boot would soften up, I had to send my email twice over several days before I got a reply.
I'll keep the classic high boots but wish they had the same supple quality of my older mid height classics.

Nice looking and comfortable. Fit runs a bit big - I usually wear a size 7 or 7.5 max, but found them much too snug and exchanged them for a size 8 which fit great. They are advertised to -40 F, however my feet were cold at 20 F... I was disappointed and exchanged them for a warmer pair. If you're looking for something a bit heftier than a rain boot they'd be great.

They appear well made and sturdy, but I was hoping they would be close to the older models, but are not.

I love these boots for their overall design. Grab handles etc. And the wide calf does fit my leg but it makes the plastic part right before the neoprene begins dig into the back of my leg. I am trying to stretch it out by wearing thick socks and shoving my pants down into the boot each time I wear them but this is a horrible design flaw. If you know I have a wide calf why would you not make it wide enough to fit right the whole way down the boot. I don't have noticebly large calfs either just muscular ones that don't fit into a lot of boots this height so I was excited when I read wide calf.

Bought these for gardening and for the upcoming winter as I live in MI. Great quality boots but the wide calf is not very wide so that is disappointing and they are a little uncomfortable but I'm keeping them regardless :(

The logo on the side of the boots is so obnoxious that I couldn't wear them. I resent the fact that the online photo of the boot shows only the inside of the boot, not the out side, where the gigantic logo is stamped on. These are not work boots, they are teenage fashion boots. Maybe Beyonce would like them.

Super cute boots, very comfortable but there is no way that they would keep your feet warm at -40 which is what they are rated for. I wore them yesterday and it was 19 degrees out and my feet froze. I had good socks and toe warmers on too. Granted I am not a spring chicken - 59 and have trouble keeping my feet warm but still..........

Great farm boot; warm, easy to wash off, orthotic friendly. Should have a more robust tread pattern on sole, to provide better traction on wet or slippery surfaces.
The significantly narrower calf on this new pair, than my current exact same pair, is very frustrating because I believed Bogs construction would be consistent, surely the relatively high cost of these wide calf boots should reflect high quality control. Bogs are the only boot of this type out there offering a wide calf, get it together and actually make it WIDE calf.

Great boots just wrong size. I needed a larger calf and shoe size. I should have checked the diameter of the calf size. However, I do wear a size 10 and these were a 10 but felt too small. Customer support was terrific and handled my exchange with exceptional ease.

I got these to wear working & doing chores in rain, mud, deep snow & ice. They're fine for rain and mud, but they have absolutely no traction for ice. If I'd known how poor the grips on the soles were I probably wouldn't have bought them. They are much warmer than my cheap old no name boots, but I'm sceptical they'd keep my feet warm in -40. I've only worn them for long periods of time in temps as low as 20 so far. They're pretty comfortable. I got the ones without the handles because I needed at least 13" of height to walk through the snow without it getting in my boots. The snow still does get inside the boots sometimes but the boots don't flip snow into the boots like my old ones did.

While these are extremely warm, they are not as pictured on the Bog website. The black rubber goes up the boot more than the picture showed. I wish the Bogs label on the back of the boot stuck out more to make removal of the boots easier.

Loved these boots, super comfortable and warm. Buyer beware: in puddles your feet WILL get wet.
These boots are not waterproof in all conditions- especially puddles a few inches deep.

Not a great fit for me: the toe on the right boot are was far too narrow, squeezing my right big toe, yet the boot was large in other places. This boot was also extremely difficult to get on and off. I returned these and got the Classic High instead, which fit great!

I wear the classic talls every day to do horse chores, in 4 seasons, as well as yard work. They are very comfortable, but for the second time, they have developed a hole at the back of the ankle and water easily gets in them. :(
You can't expect to get more than a year of wear out of them, which unfortunately now is their warranty period, instead of lifetime. At least they don't wear out in the toes like other brands. This is my second pair in about 2.5 years, so I'd say just over a year is a pretty honest lifespan for daily use.
