I volunteer at The Marine Mammal Center and these boots are a must! Good, grippy soles help keep me upright (instead of my backside) and they keep my feet warm and dry. I wish they were a *bit* more supportive but, to be fair, I'm wearing them for 8+ hours at night after a full day of work at my 9-5 job so...

My brother has size 12 in the Tradesmen. I have a wide foot. Usually a 12.5 2E. I didn't expect them to fit, but they fit phenomenally well. I went out to the department store he purchased them at to get a pair of my own. They did not have that model in stock so I tried on the 12's in this model, but they were too snug across the top of my foot and would have induced cramps with longer wear. The 13's seemed a little too loose. About a month later I called Bogs direct to try and find a solution. They reccomended a 13 and gave me a discount for the slight lack of consistency in sizing across their models. I wear the 13's now, and although they are not quite as form fitting as I'd like, they certainly do their job, and well.

The high boot and waterproof quality are perfect for the snow we have had in New England this winter.

I live in Brooklyn,NY that should tell you that the winters are hard, ugly and difficult to navigate for a full day out in a world where the weather is miserable, and the offices are probably over heated. I have UGGS, I hate them. Boggs seemed to be a great alternative and they are warm, comfortable suit my purpose of getting through all parts of the city, in all kind of weather BUT (and I have no idea how to solve this) they are really, really hard to take off when you get home and all you want to do is get into your comfy shoes. I have the high boots and a suggestion is to always plan on wearing knee socks, just for you own comfort.

Size runs small. Temperature rating faulty (we are used to Fahrenheit not Celsius) Love them for a different season, NOT Winter. I will be purchasing another pair.

These boots are great for slushy days after a snow storm or during the storm itself. They are a little narrow at the top so you kind of have to wear skinny jeans with them it seems.

Loved these Classic boots on a recent trip that took me to Antarctica, landing on-shore by stepping off of zodiac into nearly calf-deep icy water. (The boots were supplied, on loan, on Board the ship.) Warm, waterproof, excellent grip in snow, and on crumbly cinder gravel and dirt, comfy all day worn with thick [snow-boarding] all-wool socks. [worn in ice water, in snow, and on gravel, in air temperatures from high teens up to low 30s]
I wanted a pair of my own.
These boots are almost perfect.
1. DO read and heed other reviews and DO order a size up from your usual size. (I had to return the size 7 which was short enough to almost cramp my toes, and get the size 8) (I regret that I didn't peek into the ones that were provided on the ship, to verify the size)
2. If you have very narrow feet, you may not like them.
The Bogs Classics I ordered for myself feel a bit wider than the ones I wore on the ship. Not sure if I'll keep them to wear with thicker socks, or return them with hopes that Bogs will offer these in a narrow width (NO other modifications, please, - well ... maybe just an eeensy bit wider in the upper calf).

Love these comfy boots. My feet were always cold before I got them...Now theres no cold feet anymore when Im shoveling snow . The cushion soles are fantastic, as are the pull up handles. I must admit that they are a little difficult for me to take off...but very easy to get on.

These were great when shoveling snow and playing outside with the kids. We recently had a foot of snow and they kept my feet warm for a few hours when we were out sledding with the kids. They are easy to get on, are lightweight and are truly waterproof. They are too warm to wear for any extended period indoor but I would expect that from a winter boot.

Only had them for a week. Better to ask for a review in a few more weeks.
Finding the right size was not so simple. Help on the website would be good. Sock recommendations would be good as well.

I normally wear a size 11 narrow in dress shoes. I have another pair of Bogs size 11 that fit perfect. Unfortunately my toe came right to the end on these. I am exchanging them for the classic winterberry. I hope they fit. Great customer service!

I used these bogs for winter work boots. They work great in the snow, water, mud and have great traction on ice! I bought a pair myself and while i was working my boots got a rip in the top by getting snagged on something while working, bogs company generously sent me a gift card to purchase a new pair!

I originally saw these boots in a store that sells high quality active apparel that I visit once a year about 1 1/2 hours from my home. I wasn't familiar with the Bogs brand until later that year when National Geographic and Lindblad recommended we purchase a different style of Bogs warm waterproof boots to wear on a cruise in Alaska where we would need to step in and out of frigid water from inflatable boats and then hike for miles. I loved those boots for their warmth and comfort. So this year I decided I wanted the Summit Herringbone boots. It's a good thing I read a number of reviews before ordering them from the Bogs website because I needed a whole size smaller than the Bogs boots I purchased for the Alaska cruise. I've only worn them once but feel they are comfortable, warm and waterproof as I wore them on a cold slushy day. I do like the unique herringbone pattern and look forward to purchasing additional Bogs boots in the future.

I needed quality pair of boots that would keep my feet warm and last for a couple years. I have always wanted a pair of Bogs.
I looked at all the top name brand companies for a pair of boots from North Face, Coach, Lands End and many more. I found these to be most suitable for cold snowy weather. They also were the right price. I usually wear size 8.5 so I ordered size 9 and they fit perfect with enough room for thick socks.
Only downfall is getting them worn in, very stiff and hard to get used to walking in them at first.

I am outside from morning to night. I wear these boots in the snow when the temperature ranges from 10 to - 30. If it is 0 or colder I don't plan on staying out for more than 30 minutes as your feet sweat and soon they are cold. I love these boots, wish they had a little more bottom support for my old feet but I'll still buy another pair.

rain and snow use, I have very tender feet - so a little hot spot on the heel, so put a band aid on and they're fine
I do love them, but having worn through a pair of the original bogs I miss those! The original gripped my feet, were SO comfortable and never caused any hot spots. These seem more durable tho'

the plastic part of the shoe presses against the bridge / top of my foot. Its a bit uncomfortable. I don't think it will stretch or get better. I did order a full size larger and was concerned, but it was a better fit length wise. I like these boots, but may have to try a different syle.

I use these shoes primarily for work in an outdoor produce department. In the winter waterproof shoes that keep your feet warm are an absolute necessity. I have yet to brace the depths of winter with them, but so far they have done great. I will be interested to see how durable they are long term. I often find the classic bogs have the huge "moon boot" look (not my favorite) and while these are a bit bulky, they seem a little slimmer than some other styles. They are true to size (I am a size 10 and 10 is what i ordered) but are loose fitting around the ankle like a standard rainboot would be.

I love many things about these boots -- the light weight, the fabric, the style, comfort, vegan, etc. The major downside is that although they are advertised as completely waterproof and machine wash- and dryable, once the plush interior is wet, it takes a LONG time to dry, even in the dryer. I tried to air-dry them and the toes stayed wet for a week. The dryer heat and tumbling needed to get them fully dry apparently eroded the glue attaching the fabric to the sole, so one quick walk in snow and my feet were SOAKED! Same thing happened to my daughter's boots. So now we know to only wear them in dry conditions.

I spend a LOT of time walking my dog, both around the city and in the woods/mud/muck. In this brutal winter, warm and waterproof boots were a must. I've only had these for two or three weeks and I'm already SO glad I own them. They've been great.
As someone with high arches, I will say that they do fit a bit tightly across the top of my foot. This took some getting used to, but now it does not bother me at all. DEFINITELY go a size up if you are a half size.
The only time my feet have ever been cold in these was when I put them on over socks that were already damp from sweat - clean, dry socks are a must if you want to stay warm in these guys.

I love that these boots are fabric instead of rubber. I walk a lot, and the fabric is much more comfortable than rubber wellies for long walks. I also like the lining--the boots look very cute with the tops rolled down. I'm a 7 in almost all my shoes, but the 7 was way too small. I returned the 7's, and the Bogs website was out of 8's, so I had to reorder somewhere else. The 8's fit well.

I live in Portland, OR, and wanted some warm rain boots to wear to out, to soccer games, and walking the dog. They are very warm and comfy. The sole is not too sturdy, they feel like slippers, which I am fine with. I do not find them to be waterproof, and I am disappointed in that as I need them to be! Water does seem to bead off of them when dropped from above, but when I am standing in wet grass (which is one of the reasons I got them), my socks get wet. I would not wear them through a puddle. Not sure if I got a bad pair? The sizing is small - I am an 8.5, ordered a 9, and they fit perfectly. If you want warm, cute boots, and not necessarily for wearing in rain storms, I'd recommend them.

I have two Siberian Huskies that demand exercise. During the winters, I usually walk 20+ miles a week wearing these boots. This is my second pair of Bogs and I would highly recommend them. They are not super stylish, but I do wear them to work during the Chicago snow storms. The are great boots that are easy to get on and off, which is a huge plus.

We buy these boots for our lawn technicians every year. They are very durable and comfortable. Only complaint we have had is they are too warm in the summer.
