Birkenstock's come in US size 6-6.5 or 7-7.5. Since I wear 6.5-7 I was unsure which size to order. After reading reviews of these slippers I decided to order the larger size because I would be wearing socks with the slippers. The length looks a little long for my foot by a little. The arch fits me well though and toe box is good. Happy with my choice.

I have always worn one full Euro size smaller from the conversion chart for what fits me best.

I’m pregnant and need some cozy slippers with arch support in the house. I was really looking forward to these but the insoles felt “off” on my foot. The arch was not lined up with my arch so I had to return. I have the Arizona Birkenstock’s and don’t have that problem with them. I’m going to try the Boston Shearling and see if they fit better than the Zermatt.

Birkenstock says their narrow width will also fit regular width, but I haven’t found that to be true. They were uncomfortable after wearing them all day.

This slipper does not have "fur" on the inside top-side. The top of my foot feels the scratchy wool with no cushion. My feet do not stay warm in these.

Nice slides for indoors. Unfortunately, for someone at a standing desk most of the day, these offer zero support. Had to return.

it fit very well great arch support but very hard and my feet hurt not flexible enough for my flat feet and my plantar pain flared up

I have had at least 5 pair of these over the years, however, they have never been men/womans....ordered the same size as always and wow!!! these are more for a man than a woman.....they are much larger.....took off my old ones and tried on the new.....couldn't believe the size difference. I have not decided if I am keeping them or not.

I ordered 5 pairs from different manufacturers. My decision came down to these and another pair. These were clunky-looking on my feet, not as easy to walk in as the others, And the outsole wasn’t durable enough to go outside regularly. They were very warm and had excellent support though.

I needed closed toe winter slippers with arch support for plantar fasciitis and a bit of padding. These slippers are warm and breathe fairly well due to the wool uppers. But they have very little arch support, and the soles are coated with rubber, so are not firm, and cannot be worn outdoors to pick up the newspaper or mail. I would say they are the lesser of the evils of winter slippers I have tried; those with good support are so hot I cannot wear them, and those which are less hot and more breathable are not supportive enough.

These slippers are incredibly cute and have some great details. However they are like wearing planks of wood on your feet. Yes there is some arch support but no give/flex when walking. Thought it was just that I’m not a Birkenstock kind of person but my daughter who loves them agreed that these slippers are horribly uncomfortable.

I purchased this style in the blue-green plaid color because I really liked the style, and I wear Birkenstocks most of the time. I ordered my normal size, but this style was way too short and way too tight. I've never had this trouble with Birkenstocks before. I wished they would have fit because I liked the material, the removable shearling insole, and the latex outer sole. I would have liked these for slippers and occasionally going outside.

Zermatt. comfortable. Too wide for my narrow foot. My foot slide around in it and felt awkward.

I bought these about 6 months ago for work, and they fit like a glove from day 1. Just bought a second pair for around the house, expecting the same. Something seems off - the arch feels too far forward and higher than my other pair. Not comfortable.

I wanted so badly to like these... They are really adorable looking - I love the blue plaid with the fuzzy dark lining. I normally wear a size 42 and ordered a 42 which fit perfectly with socks on - if you're going to wear barefoot then consider a smaller size. For me the deal breaker was that the dipped in rubber sole of the shoe is way too thin for my liking. Other than some raised bits for arch support I felt like I could feel every bump and change on my floor. If these were sold with the plaid wool top and a normal Birkenstock cork footbed/sole I would buy them in a heartbeat. But these "lightweight" just dipped in rubber soles don't work for me and my feet. Thanks to Zappos for their excellent return policy!

I have the hardest time finding house shoes/slippers that will stay on my feet. Have purchased and returned more than one shoe/slipper. A narrow size does not guarantee the shoe/slipper will stay on one's foot. I don't buy these for style, strictly for indoor use and support. The redeeming feature here is that they do not fly off my feet. They give great support, but the shearling is not as cushy as I expected. This is a great house shoe for support and warmth, and has the classic Birkenstock duck foot shape and profile.

I've had these for a few months now (in the no longer color available green) but while I love Birkenstock comfort, the material just attracts lint and makes them look worn out. I would have been better off buying the Boston style shoe to use as an indoor slipper and then they could be re-soled like my other Birks.

Nice look and quality but wow is that arch support intense! I couldn’t wear them for more than a couple minutes.

I nearly slip on wet floor due to the bottom of these shoes. Expensive shoes and safety is compromise.

I thought these would be a great slipper since I love my Birks but I couldn't get the right size. Narrow is just too narrow and my toes felt cramped in my regular size (had the same problem with Boston Shearling)

I bought these after searching high and low for a slipper wisdom for it that also has a removable thread for an insole lift. Very comfortable but broke in about 6months of daily use. Would not recommend if you plan to use them daily.

Not comfortable - toe ran up against ends despite 38 being my Birkenstock size.

Surprisingly too small. All my other pairs of Birk's (maybe 25?) have been the same size so I have to think it's the shoes themselves. They are super fluffy on the inside and I think that's what takes up all the space. The sole is also made from some black creosote material and doesn't seem supportive. For that reason, I won't be reordering in a larger size.

These do not last. The insole wears out fast. They didn’t even last one year. If you think I’ll just buy new fuzzy inserts - well, that cost about the same as a new pair. If you like the idea of replacing slippers every season then these are fine. Uggs slippers last years longer.

I'm quite picky about slippers, and rarely do they merit a review but these definitely do. First off, they are not narrow, so if you have really narrow feet and are looking for narrow slippers, these are not it. I wear a size 7 and I have average with feet and these are perfect. They're warm, you can wear them with socks or without, and they seem like they're going to last. Other brands I love have been the German brand that we all know but those slippers always end up with a hole in the toe. And they are much more expensive than these. So no more of those and only these!
