These are not only beautiful and glamorous but they're comfortable! I truly expected them to be at least somewhat uncomfortable. They are not uncomfortable at all and are in fact quite comfortable. They're roomy! They don't look like they would be. LOVE THESE!!!!

This boot is wonderful. I could wear these everyday and my feet would feel wonderful. I have narrow feet and high arches and this worked great with both. They are comfortable right from the box. They are easy to get into but a little difficult at first to get out of. It is getting easier each time as they break in. Great show and would recommend buying.

Absolutely the comfiest boot!

So excited ! I did a previous review and sadly they were awkward to get my foot into so I returned them . But I couldn’t find anything else so I decided to give them a try in a bigger size and it worked ! Now they are slightly too big but at least I can get my foot in . I think they will work and are perfect for dressy casual outfits .

Because of the wedge heel, this felt a smidge short. Suede on these is just ok. It's definitely more casual, not a buttery suede.

Love, love these booties! I got them to replace an old pair from a different brand, which I loved, but now I love these more! They are the correct length, width and a great style. We’ll worth the $$ in my opinion.

Cute and stylish

I love these! This is like wearing the Mary by Papillio but it’s winter appropriate. The first 2 days I wore them without socks but the stitching on the top of the left boot cut me. So now I wear them with socks. Not a terrible issue since it IS a boot(ie). These are great with bootcut and narrow leg jeans. Every time I wear them I think I should see if they come in a brown, too.

Love them! Suuuuuuper comfortable out of the box.

On my 2nd pair. Love these - the most comfortable shoes! Wish they were a little les me “orthopedic” looking but overall great boots!

I have plantar fasciitis and these are truly amazing. I commute by train and subway 4 days a week and these are super comfortable and stylish. I am so happy with them. I wear a 8.5 and the 39 fits perfectly. I think I may purchase them in brown also.

Style meets function - these shoes are classic Birkenstock with a classy twist and a heel.

Again, this brand does not disappoint! Has excellent arch support, soft leather and fits like a glove. Very comfortable, bought in both black and brown.

I wear a regular 37 in Birkenstock sandals and assumed the narrow width of these boots would not fit me-I was very wrong. These fit perfectly. I have a slightly wide foot (like C width), with my main issue in my toes. Literally every boot and shoe I have tried on ends up squishing my toes, and if I size up they flop around. So even though these are narrow, because the toe area is wider they fit great. If you have a truly wide foot they may be too snug, but average to slightly wide may fit. No issues putting them on as there is a zipper on the side. My only disappointment is that the coloring of the shoes is inconsistent. The first pair was nice and dark but was really scuffed up and dented and just overall not great looking so I reordered and these ones are much lighter and just not as nice looking. Not a deal breaker for me though considering this is the first boot in over two years that has fit comfortably!

I’ve been waiting for a boot from this brand bcz the sandals are so great. And I’m not disappointed! These are simple style, perfect proportions, sturdy, and not heavy/clunky. Immediately comfortable and ez to wear.

These are amazing! Wear for 10 hours standing on my feet and feel great! Fit true to size. Will definitely order another pair!

If you have a high in-step, order up a size. Other than that, great boot and will definitely become a staple in my wardrobe!

I love the boots because they are Birkenstock. But they appear to have been worn. Eww.

The shoes is comfortable when I tried it around the house. It has the Birkenstock look which is ok. I'm returning the shoes because the top is on the skin side and it hits right at my old fracture spot, which creates irritation.

Awesome Style & very comfortable (I found them just as easy to get on & off as any other boot, but if you have thicker ankles, this could be a miss as others have mentioned), sizing is suprisingly at least 1/2 size smaller than expected - so I returned. I wish they had worked for me, but since they were at least a 1/2 size too small in the 42, I decided against them. In a closed toe shoe, I wear about an 11. All my Danskos are 41 in open toe & 42 (with plenty of room for a winter sock) in a closed toe. In this Birk shoe, the arch support wasn't enough for me. when I put one of my arch support inserts in, then my foot aligned to fit better, but not quite enough to keep them. As another reviewer mentioned, she sized up in this closed toe style from her usual birk open toe size. There is not a 43 which I have never had wear in any european sized brand, so I do find this particular situation unusual & surprising coming from Birkenstock which has always seems generous in their sizing. This 42 fits me more like a 10.5 at best, with inadequate arch support, despite Birkenstock touting the great support their footbed provides. In a wedge/heel, I believe the support needs to be more. So if you wear a 42 in Danskos, or 10.5-11 in Stewart Weitzman, Keens, or any other shoe, this shoe could be hit or miss for you.

I was excited to actually buy a 5.5 narrow in what I thought would be a sure thing. However, I had to change out the insoles for a couple different ones to make them comfortable. The left Papillio insole divider hit the ball of my foot and really hurt. And with my own insoles after about thirty minutes of walking around the house, my toes fell a sleep. I hope there are a lot of small footed ladies out there that can make this a popular enough shoe that Birkenstock will continue to offer small sizes. Beautiful boot.
