Too small in toe area; too stiff/hard when walking, caused shin pain; returned for different brand

Very short for 8.5 woman's shoe. Returned, will definitely look for my 940's to not be disappointed.

I just received these and they are too small. I have ordered dozens of shoes from NB and have never encountered this problem. I am returning them. Buyer beware.

Nothing will ever compare to the 1540v3 don't ever stop making them. I think that speaks for how great the 874v4's are there not.

Very disappointed. Considerably smaller than the exact shoe I replaced. Ordered from bar code. Very expensive for a bad fit.

Toes are all the way at the end of shoe. Customer service says go up half a size? I feel a full size would be better but returns and refunds are so slow I don't want to reorder

I've worn the 847 for years since the first version, and it has been terrific, perfect fit and comfort (which no other walking shoe has been for me). Unfortunately, this version is cut differently: it is narrower across the forefoot and slightly shorter in length. So my foot does not have as much space, which is not nearly as comfortable, and the next size up is too big. Ugh.

I have had many pairs of the New Balance walking shoe, model 847. They seemed perfect. Now they have made drastic changes and I find them very uncomfortable after walking for a few minutes.

I have bought the 847 for years-one pair in summer in white and one pair in winter in gray or black leather type material. This new version with the cloth covering with holes is awful! Let's in rain and cold- bring back solid material- very disappointed in the poor quality of covering for a great shoe!!

These shoes are extremely short. For years I have always worn a size 10.5 in New Balance shoes. I received these and the box said 10.5, but when I put them on they felt short. I wore them for a little while in the house and decided I couldn't keep them. I thought I might try a size 11. However, when I looked in the shoes they were a size 11. So I received size 11 in a 10.5 box and the size 11 was too short. What is going on New Balance? I'm extremely disappointed!

I was disappointed because this was my 2nd experience the first time was great..This pair was worn and looked like it.

Toebox too short. New pair 928 good fit like my old pair. White walking shoe rollbar motion control and good support.

I ordered the wrong size and returned them. So I thought I ordered the right size 6.5 extra wide and they just arrived and they are not extra wide so they will be returned too. If you can't send me a shoe that is 6.5 extra wide I am done with your store.

I enjoyed an earlier version of this shoe. But v4 does not work for me. I could not poke the lace tips through the upper holes no matter how hard I tried. This version does not have adequate under foot padding or support.
