This is the third pair of shoes in this style that I have purchased. All 3 have a whole in the big toe area. My two friends have had the same problem. The fit and comfort is great.

I have a long narrow foot (10 1/2 2A) that is hard to fit but I've had really good luck with New Balance shoes. My most recent purchase wasn't up to the quality I've seen in the past. They were at least a half size too short and the material and workmanship wasn't the quality I've come to expect from New Balance. I have returned them and ordered a different style which is due today. Fingers crossed!

So disappointed. The toe box is too short. I kept the shoes thinking they would stretch out and didn't. So sorry I did not send them back.

Shoe was way too narrow. I specifically bought them as they were supposed to be at least xtra wide. Extremely disappointed!!

this is a very heavy shoe on your foot, it has a wide toe box, but it is wide throughout, now i did order a wide ,but this shoe is wide from heel to toe.and this makes your foot really slip out of the shoe

I ordered & tried on this shoe in Sizes 9, 9 1/2, 10, & 10 1/2. The 1st three sizes were too small (there did not seem to be ANY difference between the three sizes, which speaks to the lack of quality control. The 10 1/2 was not only too long but too wide - it did not seem to be "narrow", which I had ordered. Very disappointing.

The fit was pretty good. The minute I put them on I felt the lack of padding under foot which is important to me. They also have a orthotic look. Fine on the inside but not on the outside.

Shoe is comfortable ,just wish there were brown new balance shoes in x wide

I am disappointed that New Balance has chosen to put such inferior insoles in their shoes. I have purchased many New Balance shoes over the years, but none recently until this purchase. Their insoles used to be great - comfortable and cushioned - but not any more I guess.

This shoe runs short—I normally wear a 7, but even the 7.5 was too short. The size 8 fit me like a size 7 usually does, but then even the narrow was too wide through the toe box. The width in the 7.5 was perfect. So disappointing. I’ve worn NB for years because they come in Narrow. I guess that’s the end of that.

I have very narrow feet. New Balance 847s have worked well for me until the leather uppers were discontinued. The non-leather never softens and becomes flexible. Now this pair is also shorter than past shoes. Very disappointing.

These shoes are marked 9.5 wide, but they are probably a size 8.5 wide. When compared to a pair of 9.5 shoes these measure at least 3/4 " shorter. I think they are missmarked.

The fit is very tight near my toes. They are a heavy shoe to wear for 8hrs. I need to return the shoes because I was trying to use my Amazon discount and zappos charged my card for the purchase. I need a refund and this shoes will be returned. I was able to wear once to Amazon and the first two hours I had to take them off and wear my other sneakers. They started rubbing at my pink toe. Definitely not a comfortable shoe and my feet because heavy with every step. It would be nice if all Amazon approved shoes didn't have to be composite toe or steel toe. These shoes are very heavy and with every step those shoes become uncomfortable.

I am disappointed in the arch support. It felt like I was attaching boards to my feet.

This was the correct shoe but wrong size. I wanted this shoe in size 7 double wide. Had to answer negatively to all the questions because the size was way off what I needed, and thought I had ordered.

i am a true size 6.5 with previous new balance shoes for years and this pair was narrow in the toe and small all around. disappointing

I have had 847's before but theses were way too short. Had to return.

I returned the shoes because they came with an 8.5 and 9.5 in the box.
