Love this sneaker. The toe box is nice and roomy does not scrunch your toes at all. The inside of the shoe is so cushiony along the sides and the sole too. Great for walking and they are also stylish.

Maybe because they're new but they feel a little stiff. They also squeak but I'm sure that won't last. I did notice a difference on the inside heel. It sits higher than the 847v3. Otherwise, I will be trail walking today with them on. The fit is true for me. I wear an 8 1/2 medium (B) width.

Wonderful shoes that meet my needs.

This new balance was much larger than other new balance tennis shoes (I purchase at least 4 pairs/year and this model is runs much larger).

They feel good fit wonderfully and I would highly recommend.

This is one of too many attempts at finding a pair of dedicated "walking sneakers". I walk about 2-5 miles a day to make up for all the sitting at work. I would like a dedicated walking shoe instead of a sneaker designed for running. Unfortunately, walking shoes are usually the ugliest, most matronly and geriatric looking shoes. The NB 847v4 was the OK because the all black design made it less obvious in looking like a geriatric shoe. This pair would have worked if it were a half size larger. I am reliably a size 7 w/a medium width in almost every pair of shoes I own. This pair is another return due to size; they were simply too tight at the toe. I would suggest sizing up with this shoe. I have narrow heels with flat arches, I need stability such as a heel counter and arch support in my shoes. The NB walking shoes have good stability but not much in arch support. In my case I always have to add inserts in my shoes, so this was less of a factor in returning them. I just wish they'd make walking shoes as attractive as running shoes.

I have such weirdly big, wide feet that most times I have to buy a half size up just to fit into the toe box. Wish there were more shoes available in D width, but am very happy with these, wore them for an hour walk right out of the box, no weird rubbing where the leather meets the mesh and the feeling of space around my toes but NO heel slips, which is also very nice.

I have overpronation/ankle/knee issues and need a motion control shoe for walking. This shoe fits perfectly, is comfortable, and is very supportive. It feels very stable and has good cushioning, although I'll be removing the insole to put my own arch supports in. I ordered the Aluminum/vintage Indigo and like that it's got a bit of color to it; motion control walking shoes usually only come in white and look like something a grandma would wear, so this was a fun change. I am a little worried how the mesh-ish forefront of the shoe will hold up, but this seems to be what all athletic shoes are made of nowadays, and it does keep the shoe lighter weight.

I love these shoes, they work really well for my feet. I tend to roll to the outside of my feet but I am very stable in the shoes - without feeling jammed, if that makes sense. I am ordering a second pair because Ii am tired of cleaning out the treads. This time of year our neighborhood has lots of tree debris- ornamental tree drop fruit and you might as well walk in fig newtons! Lots of tiny grooves make this a great non-slip shoe but hard to clean. So and outdoor walking pair and an indoor pair.

I have been having a very hard time finding supportive walking shoes to fit my wide feet, narrow heel. I feel like I scored with the 847 and thinking about buying another pair just in case New Balance changes sizing!

Definitely wide. Perfect for us truly wide footed people!

If you have wide feet or giant bunions, these shoes are definitely roomy enough. I saw several reviews stating they were too wide which made them perfect for me. Very comfortable all over.

Comfort is a priority. These shoes are definitely comfortable.

Excellent roomy toe bed. Best tennis shoe I have found for short wide feet in a while. I just wish they were not so stabilizing.

My wife loves these shoes. We have trouble finding shoes that fit correctly and support her feet adequately. She usually will not wear the same shoes all day because they’ll hurt to much. But she has had no complaints and has worn them entire days with no issues. Awesome.

Finally i found a pair that fit perfect. Took a few pairs to get here, lol. I wear medical inserts and it is hard to find shoes.

I Never thought I’d find these with a roll bar again but here they are! They helped with my plantar fisclitis . I bought my sister a pair for the same reason. Helped so much!!

My feet are terrible. I take off my shoes whenever I can. They hurt my feet. But. These shoes are amazing. They don’t hurt. They look great. They are all I can ask for in a shoe. Thank you, New Balance!

Obsessed with these. I ordered the 7.5 wide and the toe box is so roomy I question if I really needed the wide or not. Removable insoles so I can easily fit my orthotics in them and still have plenty of room. I have arthritis in my feet and I'm a bartender so I'm standing for 9 hrs at a time and when I have flare ups they swell and these shoes are just amazingly comfortable. The roll bar is great every step feels stable. And even though they are not listed as such, they are non slip to a degree which makes them even better for working in the industry. Highly recommend. Make more colors! And maybe a waterproof version and I will buy them all!
