I have yet to find a pair of FR pants that I like...I'd really like a pair that tapers (moderately) down the leg so I don't have a bunch of fabric to deal with by my ankles. These fit ok but the fabric is rather heavy and I don't like that there is simply too much fabric. Still, these are probably the best pair I have had so far.

I'm sure the fit would've been fine, but the site asked length and waist, so I selected values for each. When I received the pants, the numbers had been switched in the system. This is not the first time it has happened on the site.

It feels great.

I like these pants, I've been wearing Caterpillar work pants for years but they are so baggy. I like the way Ariats are leaner. The only negative I have is that I miss the rubber coated waistband that Caterpillar work pants come with. I think that the sizing is spot on. BatesX3 from Kansas City is a new Ariat fan.

The quality on the pants is exceptional and the color is great. My only concern is how "wide" the pants are. I don't understand why. May be this pants are to be wore on top of other utility pants or something, but Jesus! I don't think there is a need to make the trousers so wide; not that they are supposed to be skinny, but in my opinion they should be more on the slim side. I'm not gonna be able to were them at work and may be I'm gonna have to return them or take them to a Taylor and try to fix the problem. I'm 5'5" and weigh 180 pounds. I ordered (2) 33-30 size and the length is perfect, but the legs section of the pants are too wide. Probably if it was 1990 and I was a Jamaican rapper they would fit properly, but not to go to work anywhere in the year 2021 and in a modern industrial plant. Please somebody clarify my ignorance if mistaken.

Good while they lasted. Purchased 4 different pairs of pants for work. These were the first to wear through the thighs/crotch area. Lasted maybe 3-4 months before significant pilling and thinning. 6 months, complete whole. I am a weight bearer, about 270lb-6ft, with large thighs, so my thighs touch n rub. These wore great standing up, but squatting felt like an accelerant to the eventual crotch split along the seam. Beware if you are heavier or have thicker thighs, these will wear quicker than normal. I also wash n dry, heard others air dry-possible to kep them longer doing that, but still just an fyi. They look great and were nice, just unfortunate the "highest stress area" not being reinforced.

Don't have enough pockets in the right places.

If your looking at the Ariat M3 Jeans, just get these they are simply better. The pockets are useful, and the material is nicer feeling. As with most FR these pants will get very hot, very fast and next to no breathability. So expect swamps just sitting, let alone if you think of working in the slightest.

They've changed the pants completely. The sizing, fit, and material is completely different now. Ordered my normal size again for the past 3 years and the sizing isnt good now. They are cut smaller through the pockets, wider in the waist, and a lot longer. The length of the pants are almost two inches longer they state. Waist is very baggy but I cant put stuff in my pockets because they're too tight. I ordered three new pairs of these before I knew about the changes. They're all the same. Also, the material is a lot thinner and feels less durable. After trying these, I ordered a size down and the length is fine but the waist/fitment is still not good. Let's hope they don't shrink when you dry the.

Seems every pair of pants was made in a different plant resulting in differences in sizes with each style. Disappointing.

I ordered a 34 x 34 it fits like a 35 x 36, Had to exchange for a 33 x 34.

Waist fit okay, but the pant legs where WIDE, like where jeans in the 90s, not something I find comfortable..

I have never had a 36 in,ch waist leave 2 inches of slack and ive gained 30 pounds recently so these are ridiculously far off. Longer than any 32 ive ever had either. I thought i received the big and tall version when i put them on. I can slip them right on without undoing button or zipper.

They could not send the right size and I ordered both ways 32 x 36 & also 36 x 32 both times received 32 x 36 I am an American I am not 32 x 36. The next day 36 x 32 are not available. I believe they knew they were wrong, at some point and sent them anyway !

Waist and length are solid, but they are tight through the thighs and groin.

These pants appear to be durably constructed but I find them too big in all aspects. I ordered my normal size (36x30) and found the waist a little big, no big deal because I wear a belt but the length is way too long. I realize these are stackable but the back of these pants get stepped on by my heel and that's with work boots on. Also I have bigger upper legs and these are very baggy on me, they feel more like a baggy fit than a straight leg fit. Again, they are well made pants but I would definitely recommend going a size down in both waist and length.

Pants legs to wide and long need to offer 32 length

super nice pants but they run a little tight in the waist and way long on the inseam. it'd also be nice if the site specified waist and inseam while ordering instead of waiting until you get to the cart. they never have my size available so I had to go with different jeans.

These pants fit better than the rest of the FR ones. Most FR clothing Zappos offers under Amazon's program are extremely baggy if it's even in stock. They run large most of the time. The pant legs are always about 2x wider than it should be, even for "straight fit" ones. This program and the selection it offers is abysmal.

These pants have odd sizing, the length seems to run true to size but that waist is about 2 inches too big. Nice quality though!

the fit was perfect and comfortable to wear all day. im 6'2" about 235ish. i ordered 38x38. my favorite pants so far but one major issue I had is the crotch area. my thighs rub so about 4 months in i had worn out the crotch area out enough to fit my hand through. i wish it had better material in that area.

The tan color is a dark brown, that is a big disappointment. They are not a true M5 fit, i have many pairs of M5 blue jeans, these are pretty baggy in the seat and thighs. I wear them bc i paid so much for them but I wont buy another.

Everything was perfect until I noticed that it had a rip in between the legs, so they were used. So anyone that is buying jeans/pants make sure to check them thoroughly. And at last if you receiving any product that you ordered from Zappos and receive it from Amazon they usually put "LPN" tags on them with that being said its either returned or used. I'm really unsatisfied knowing that the pants fit very well that I am having to return them knowing that they've already been worn and have a hole in them.

Very comfortable but too big in the wrong place. Looks like I'm sagging.
