Excellent product that I have used for many different purposes. Looks great and provides enough warmth as a spring/fall coat. For colder temperatures, it is an excellent mid layer (under a Zeta LT or Fission AR for my purposes). During the winter, I will use the Atom LT as a winter running coat, which has kept me toasty and active under less than ideal winter conditions. Highly recommended and versatile piece.

This jacket is all around excellent. I've had it for about 2 weeks now being able to get a good feel for the product. An instant quality feel when you put the jacket on. Zippers are top of the line. Fits true to size, I am 5'9, 205 lbs, very athletic build with broad shoulders, 44" chest and slim waist. Large fits like a glove. I bought this jacket for work, and outdoor activities. I work in the military and requires me outdoors quite often in the desert of Southern California. Gets very cold at night (sometimes below freezing) and this insulation does the job. It's much warmer than you'd think. I've taken it snowboarding at Big Bear and Mammoth mountain. At Big Bear the temperature during the day was around 45 degrees F. this jacket had me plenty warm and at times sweating. Of course I had a shell just in case but it wasn't needed that day. I also have the highly recommended Arcterx Stingray jacket to throw over that top while I'm boarding in colder temps. Still light weight and compressible. The best duo I could imagine. Little pricy for the jackets combined but it's worth every penny. Atom LT is a must have 4 season type of jacket to have on standby whenever you feel like being comfortable or are just downright cold.

Just got back from obergurgl in Austria, wore this jacket as a base under my stingray hardshell as well as an everyday piece. Can't say enough about it, hood fits lovely, the cuffs are fantastic. So soft you don't know your wearing it.
Best single garment I have ever owned.
Will be ordering more of everything.
Love arcteryx.

I wear this jacket everywhere. To and from work, on the weekend and sometimes even running.
Hoody is a great size that fits perfectly and keeps warmth in. Is water resistant to keep light drizzle at bay. Can be used running and breathes to a reasonable degree considering it isnt designed fro this.
Fits well underneath the Beta LT Jacket and I use the combination alot. When packed up rolls into a very small package.

I bought this jacket in Lime Fizz size small. I'm 5"4, 120 lbs (size 2-4 in street clothes). I was looking for a lightweight warm jacket for spring skiing. It fits true to size. Not too fitted, not too large. Able to fit a base layer underneath. I've worn it mostly for backcountry on temps between 20-30 and it's perfect. In 40 degree temps I just wore a tank top underneath. Otherwise it would have been too toasty for backcountry. It's so lightweight I hardly know I have it on. There is a cinch cord in the back of the hood for an adjustable fit and I find I use the hood quit a bit when it's cold and windy. I will likely buy this jacket in other colors; it's that nice. Pairing the Lime Fizz jacket with the Kakeela pant in Chandra Purple is a cool color combo.

Almost everyone in our family now has this jacket. I have a whole closet full of jackets and rarely wear any of the others because this is so comfortable and warm!

I love, love, LOVE this jacket!! I wear it everywhere.
I'm so obsessed with this jacket that I purchased a second one and got my boyfriend one. Every time I see a new colour released I'm tempted to buy another one.
The jacket is comfortable, breathable, very easy to care for and pretty much everything Arc'teryx claims it is. Easy to layer under a shell. It truly is a great all round jacket and packs down so small.
My only piece of advise is that it is quite fitted so if you want it a bit looser (how I like to wear my jackets), I'd recommend sizing up. I'm normally a medium and found it quite short in the body so went up to a large.

I was never into performance jackets until I purchased this jacket. It was the jacket I threw on literally everyday. It's super light, yet extremely warm. Blocks wind, DWR coating helps to repel rain, hood is awesome. Best of all, it looks great as a casual jacket you could wear to almost any event.
As for skiing, this is the perfect mid layer with tons of flexibility. I highly recommend this jacket for Vancouver weather and for people who are lazy like me and just want to throw something warm and light over their t shirts in the morning before work or school. It looks great with sweats, jeans and shorts. I would size up if you're looking for a more relaxed fit.
10/10 would buy this jacket for my whole family.

I just purchased this jacket and it definitely lives up to it's reputation. This jacket is incredibly lightweight yet very warm. I've worn this jacket in 30 degree weather with no issues. Any colder and I add a fleece underneath and stay warm. However, if it is windy, you do feel somewhat through the jacket. The hood fits well without it being too big for use without a helmet. My one minor complaint about this jacket is that it does not have fleece lining for chin but can certainly see why this jacket is so popular.

This jacket will be the only one you want to ware. I never feal to hot or cold when I have this jacket on. It is so light and works well under a shell or by its self. If you are to have only one Arcteryx piece this is the one.

My wife and I absolutely love this jacket. This is probably the first jacket I reach for out of my Arc'teryx fleet. I work outside from dusk till dark, and whether I am working hard in wet sub-freezing temps, or sitting motionless in a tree stand for hours, I know this will keep comfortable regardless of what the conditions may be, The only drawback is my wife's Atom LT had a piece of ash land on it from a campfire one night, and it quickly burnt a tiny hole in the fabric.

Some thorough reviews already but I essentially use as a belay jacket. Warm sold, light and an excellent hood. I like the little touches like a bit of stretch fabric in the cuff so it just fits rather than faffing about. Only thing I'd like is a two way zip....

I wore this jacket over a quarter zip and light vest on a 21 degree (F) ski day. The wind was gusting up to 50 mph, and I felt comfortable and warm the entire day, whether I was on a run or on the lift. I am extremely impressed with how well-made and functional the Atom LT is! On top of that, it's stylish too!

I love it. Great versatile jacket; nice wind breaker for cool summer nights, great for fall and I have been wearing it this winter too! Washes up great and fits nice. I love my Arcteryx Atom LT! May need to get the warmer one for the really cold northern Alberta winters. But love the light weightness of this jacket. Very much recommend!!! Bought same coat for hubby he loves it as well.

The first thing I look for in an alpine jacket is the versatility. Technical garments are expensive, so the possibility to use them in the broadest range of situations is very important to me. Atom LT exactly fits this need.
Two features are excellent: breathability and wind resistance. They are perfectly balanced together with the capacity to keep you warm. This summer I reached the peak of the Western Breithorn (4165 mt) without putting on any shell till I reached the very ridge.
In the winter I use the Atom LT for ice climbing and sky-alp. For the former I use a warm base-layer for the latter a lighter one. It is my go and back jacket. You just need a shell in case of heavy snow or storm wind.

This jacket feels like a wearing a combination of a very nice sleeping bag and a groovy windbreaker I had when I was a kid. I don't know what it is in particular, but it's great. The fit, materials, looks, everything. Thank you, Arc'teryx, for making an article of clothing I like so much that it actually makes me emotional thinking about it!

I have the Phoenix (orange). Beautiful bright color, I am visible during my outdoor activities, hiking, trekking, camping in remote area. In case of an emergency, I feel that I would be easily spotted. Men are alloud to wear colors!
The jacket is very light, I almost forget that I'm wearing it. The hoody is a little big if you are wearing it without climbing helmet, but the back elastic does a great job to keep it close to the skull. I love that the sleeves don't have velcros, it's more comfortable at the wrists when wearing gloves. As I have a long neck, I appreciate that the collar goes up.
In winter, when the temperature is under 0 C, I wear it with a first layer Rho LS or AR with my Gorte-Tex Alpha, and voila. I'm ready to face the cold weather when I go outside.
The Atom is a must to own and to have in your backpack. Lightweight and compact, the perfect combination!

I'm not a professional climber or trekker. I used for the first time my Atom LT (size M) in Iceland last week during a 10 days holiday under a wide range of weather conditions, ranging from -9 C to +10 C with sun, rain, snow, wind.
The Atom performed very well, the hood is comfortable and shelters the neck very well.
The most impressive feature is its lightness, which makes you feel very free in movements. Yet it's comfortable and very warm if properly paired with other quality layers.
I'm very satisfied and I think I will buy some other Arcteryx stuff again.

Super lightweight, super breathable, and very fitted, this jacket has a ton of purposes and hasn't failed me yet. I've taken it climbing, skiing, biking, hiking, you name it, and it keeps me just warm enough in the colder months and it's just breathable enough that I can still wear it as the weather is turning. I'm a huge fan of the slimmer sleeves - you can't push them up, but they form nicely to your wrists and keep cold & wind out and make it really easy to layer on top because they don't ride up. I've gotten soaked in this thing while exploring waterfalls in Iceland and it still kept me warm - the synthetic insulation is really effective. The hood keeps your head & ears warm in the wind, though its slightly annoying when you turn your head and the jacket doesn't turn with you, but it's not that difficult to turn your shoulders too. All in all, an excellent, multi-purpose, hardy jacket.

Great weight. Not bulky and can add a light layer underneath to make it significantly warmer. Nice DWR finish. You get what you pay for.
