I bought this jacket to wear in the spring while hiking. It is lightweight and warm. Highly recommend.

It's a great jacket! I bought one for my girlfriend for her birthday and got so jealous of how happy she was I bought the 24K men's version. This is a great lightweight jacket but warm and feels nice and soft. In addition, it breathes well and moves even better. It's stretchy but doesn't feel weak or cheap.

I purchased the Atom jacket a few weeks ago and it didn't disappoint! It keeps me warm on cold days and I don't overheat on the milder days. Arc'teryx have absolutely nailed it with this jacket, the quality is second to none, highly breathable and with decent shower resistance, it ticks all boxes for me. 5 Star product

Bought this jacket autumn last year and I used its all fall and through the winter. I live in Toronto and I was still able to manage the whole winter with a shirt and sweater underneath this jacket and be comfortable. As well, I used this jacket as a midlayer for skiing at Whistler and I was good the whole trip. Great all use jacket!

I love this jacket. Great mid layer in the winter and outer layer in the summer during chilly nights. It's too warm for use as an active layer but great as a static layer. After near constant use for years, there have been no rips or tears. The insulation has fully packed out but it still performs great!

I use this for skiing under my shell and it keeps me well regulated, if it's to cold it keeps me warm and if it's warm I'm not hot.

I bought this December 2020, and it has become my go-to jacket. I imagined wearing this jacket just on mild temp days as I also own a Koda. However, this jacket keeps me warm on 20 degree days but also keeps me cool on 60 degree days. It's actually hard not to wear this jacket since it is the most versatile and comfortable jacket you will own. I can not compare it to the older version as this is my first Atom, but it will not be my last.

After I had my Atom LT hoody for years, I got my partner this one for Christmas, and she wears it practically everywhere, as a mid layer when it's really cold and she's cycling to work, as a outer layer to warm up in when we're training outside (due to pandemic) and when going out. Perfect jacket for every day use and light activity, very light, yet cozy! The cut and size (on both mine (Large) and hers (S)) is great.

I bought this jacket about a month ago without any knowledge of how it would fit me and was pleasantly surprised. I wanted an all around activity jacket to use where I live and for traveling during the winter shoulder season. I normally wear a jacket over a sweatshirt and t-shirt and the Atom LT fit me perfectly (even with just a t-shirt). I like the feel and the lightness of the Atom LT; outside and inside pockets are a good size for me; and with wearing a sweatshirt and t-shirt I was comfortable walking outside with temperatures in the low 30's F with a wind chill in the low 20's F. The Atom LT hood kept my head comfortable in windy conditions. I am very happy with my purchase of the Atom LT. Now I'm looking for 1)a not too heavy waterproof/windproof shell to use over the Atom LT for wearing around my home and for shoulder season traveling; 2)and also a winter jacket (temperature below 30 F) for use around my home. Recommendations appreciated.

I've worn this jacket when my heat won't work and its 55F, it kept me warm without sweat. I've skied in this jacket at 15F, it kept me warm without sweat. I've biked in this jacket at a windchill of -10F, it kept me warm without sweat. I have yet to run in temperatures cold enough to require this jacket. Everything I've thrown at it, it has taken. All in a true XS! I bought the 2020 model from the outlet since I heard the 2021 version added an inch to the arms and torso. As the picture shows, it's still a *little* long in the arms, but this is the best I've found. Note that the microfleece under the armpits will loosen after a few months. I only wish I could cinch the hood down. While I can make it shallower, I cannot make it shorter. This is a problem in high wind when I'm not wearing a helmet (which is what the hood is perfectly shaped to handle).

I had to navigate through the website to finally get to write review feature to say this: I've had jackets from all name brands, patagonia, columia, the north face, mammut, marmot, Rab , you name it ! this one blew my mind! it absolutely did, it is so warm and light that I had to look up the patents and technology , the Arc'teryx is using to make this amazing jacket! buy this, yes it is expensive, but think of it this way, buy this and sell everything else you have :) as far as sizing, I wear 2 in Gap or Banana Republic and XS in The North Face and Columbia, in Arc'teryx I got Small and it fits just right, so XS would have been too tight. What I wish was different is the color selection, there aren't many options, or the ones that are most appealing are sold out. Rab has much more fun colors to chose from, yellow, green, light purple, dark purple, orange, red, etc.

I recently purchased this jacket in the fall and have worn it non stop since then. I am new to wearing Arc'Teryx and the quality of their products. I wasn't a fan of the price, but after using it for a few months I know its worth the money. I have used this to do anything from back country winter hiking to walking to the mailbox. It fits great and is stylish enough to wear anywhere and anytime. I cant recommend this enough.

I have only had this coat for a few weeks now but since I have taken it biking, hiking and climbing and I couldn't be happier. It's warm enough to wear regularly but also breathable so I have yet to overheat in this jacket. Which for me is unheard of. The color is amazing, got to love that dope-dyeing process, it makes the colors so much more vibrant, will last longer and is more ecological! I felt like I had a great range of motion in the coat and never felt constricted wearing it. I haven't had it long enough to speak about the durability, but if it is anything like the other Arcteryx I have owned I'm sure I wont have any problems. Oh and rip away zippers, yes! If it helps I am 5'2" and 130 lbs and got the small, fits me perfectly!

I bought this for a midlayer under a windshell and standalone over a baselayer, it works great. perfect for all year round use. however, if you are going out in the snow walking i would recommend the Atom AR. The only complaint i have is there is no stuff sack, and the fit around my hips isn't great. its made to be longer so it can accommodate a harness, but just have to pull it up slightly. But otherwise, its wonderful and worth the investment.

This has become my go to jacket for pretty much all weather and all activities from snowshowing to standing in line at grocery stores, ah pandemic shopping. First, I love how light it is as opposed to recreational parkas. It is great at regulating temperature to avoid being to hot while active or in the car but still warm enough even around freezing when idle for a short time with just a fleece underneath. The arms and shoulders are well structured to allow my thin but lanky frame to get into a medium and still be long enough on the arms during movement. The shoulder width could be a little wider for my body shape but I appreciate that is my unique sizing challenge and not a deficit of the product. For reference, I am 6'2" and about 170-175 lbs with long arms. I really like the collar and hood fit. When completely zipped up you don't feel choked by the collar as some hooded jackets can feel. The collar narrows at the base to effectively seal in your warmth but is still very comfortable. The hood is comfortable and easily fits a wooly toque under it. May not be great under a helmet but that is not the type of hood I wanted. Overall, best purchase I have made in outerwear for sure!

I bought this hoody a month ago and I love it!! It's great as a stand-alone for hiking up to -5. Also wore in the pouring rain for 30 min and only the zipper leaked! The only thing I didn't like was the sizing. I am 5'3" and about 135 lbs and I had to order a large to accommodate a fleece and baselayer underneath. The sleeves are quite long. Other than that I couldn't be happier!

I bought the Atom LT before the recent revision, but I think it's still mostly the same. I mostly used the jacket casually for outdoor walks or commuting and found myself using it almost everyday for the entire F/W season. I bought a large size because I wanted to be able to layer a sweatshirt under it in case the weather got colder, but I never found myself doing it because of how warm it was. Buying your true size should be fine. The only problem I found with it was there was a bit of pilling on the face fabric, but overall I'm really happy with my purchase.

This jacket works as a single layer in spring weather and as an outer layer is sub-zero wind-chill weather. The hood drawstring and long arms are great features. Packs well. Great colors.

Great warmth! Fit is great dare I say trim or "athletic". Always love the inverted 24K. This jacket kills out anything I've owned before. Now my life leads me to be a snowboarding/climbing clothing collector and I've alway been loyal to Arc'teryx, I did try Patagonia lower temp 1st layer and the wind proofing is a joke. Swated out of the collection Dikembe Mutombo style.

If you're looking for a jacket that looks as great as it performs, you've found it. You'll be getting no shortage of compliments, and when mother nature doesn't cooperate, rest assured you'll be warm and cozy. Let's start with the zipper. An under appreciated feature, this thing is buttery smooth. No more snags, catches or fumbling around to get it aligned. It's a premium tactile experience that you appreciate every time you put the jacket on and take it off. Next, the breathability factor is amazing. Down jackets are great for warmth, but I'm constantly annoyed with having to take them off as soon as I get inside to avoid suffering the wrath of pit stains. With the Atom LT, i've never had an issue because the sides breathe so nicely. That makes this jacket my absolute go-to in the +5C through -10C temperature range. The fabric is very light and compliant, with just the right amount of stretch. That makes it perfect for doing any and all late fall/winter activities. It's supremely comfortable, and packs down easily so there's no excuse to not stuff it in your pack as backup. I bought my first atom LT hoody 8 years ago. Let me tell you - if this thing could talk, it would say "shoot... meee." We've been through the ringer together and it has rolled with the punches every step of the way. Even with all its stains and patched spark holes, I still love it. It's been retired to "beater" status as my workhorse jacket for camping, and I recently bought a second one for when I need to make a statement while spending a night out on the town. If you're just buying one do-it-all jacket, this is the one. If I had to give up my entire closet save for one article of clothing, this would be it (yes... including underwear). I can't recommend it highly enough.
