So disappointed. The comfy, made-for-women's-feet style of the past is unrecognizable in this newest version.

These are wider than my current pair of the same size. The length was fine, but I had hope that they would be a bit narrower. I have a narrow foot, but my current pair of Encore Ice in medium width work nicely because the thick lining helps to keep them snug enough so that they don't fall off. For whatever reason, these feel much wider and don't work at all. I really wish Merrell shoes would come in a narrow width.

Wanted to love this. No arch support or solid feel when walking. Feels like a cheap shoe. My 50$ Sketchers are more supportive and comfortable. What is happening to this brand? Back it goes.

Exchanged my too large Size 8 for a 7-1/2. The 7-1/2 was a bit too short but still felt wide (as the size 8). Reluctantly I had to return the size 7-1/2. The older Encore Ice fit true to size. These Encore Ice 4 are made so much bigger. I’m so disappointed with Merrill for changing these clogs.

I like the color and style, but not the quality or comfort I was expecting. I have a gray pair that I wore to work and loved, this pair is not the same quality for sure.

fit a little big, but shoes not as well made as original merrill's from several years ago (they were made in China). After only wearing about 10 times the suede is is wearing off on the toes. This pair was made in Indonesia. I'm very disappointed in the quality of these.

I have several other Merrill Jungle Mocs from other years. I bought these because I liked the blue color. It is pretty but the shoes were so poorly made it felt like walking on cardboard. No feeling of support. Very disappointing. I returned them.

Zappo's service was excellent! as usual! but the Merrell quality seems to have slipped considerably. I was told (by Merrell) that the size issue could be resolved by ordering one size smaller than usual. That is easily fixed. But what is not easily fixed is the quality of the materials (this is a style I have worn for over 10 years.. for wearing around the house on hard, wood floors) and overall hardiness of the shoe/feel. The look of the shoes is fine- the softness of the shearling is fine- but they feel flimsy, unsupportive, (the heel of the shop top is lower, as well, so they do tend to 'slip off' a bit with every step) and unlike the quality of the Merrell shoes of yore. I will be looking for an entirely different brand. Sadly!

I've had three pairs of Merrell Encore Ice 4 but had to return this pair. The right shoe was much too wide (almost as if it were a 'wide' instead of 'medium' but the individual shoes weren't marked so I don't really know if it was mistakenly placed in the wrong box or that's the way the pair looks) and some changes to the original design are less appealing. I don't like the cross hatch stitching, the 'fake' sheepskin inside isn't as comfortable as before and the arch support felt different as well. Perhaps they're being made in a different factory. Too bad because my older pairs fit better and are more comfortable than this new one. Disappointed because these are my 'go to' shoes for everyday wear.
