Warm, Warm, Warm. Great for outdoors. They run a little big, but with heavy socks, fit great. Only issue was I have one shoe with a squeak. Yep it squeaks-don't want to return them, hoping it will work itself out.

I was looking for a winter shoe to wear in the house. Unfortunately Merrell does not have a big selection in wide widths. I ordered this one - it is comfy and warm with the Sherpa lining however I have bad knees and the low back on the shoe is not supportive enough for me so I had to return them. A shame because these are great shoes otherwise, would highly recommend - fit is good, shoes are wide and true to fit.

It is bigger than the size I always wear so it is somewhat loose on my feet but comfortable! Maybe order them 1/2 size down?

I have two pairs of last year's Encore Ice clogs, and they fit me perfectly without socks. I bought the same size this year, and they're running about half a size larger. I've decided to keep them so I have a pair I can wear with heavy socks, but I'd advise other repeat buyers to size down when buying this year's version if they don't want to wear socks with them.

Love these - the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the suede is rubbing off the toe area already ( after just a couple weeks of wear ). I wear these mostly inside instead of slippers for better support.

Merrell must have discontinued the non-"fur" version I bought a few years ago. I loved those. I like these. They're a decent option but I wish they still made the other.

This is my second pair of Encore Ice. I loved my old 2Q Ice ones so much I ordered a new pair. The fit isn't as supportive as the old ones. The toasty warm lining is great for our N.Y. winters.

These are pretty good shoes. A couple things to keep in mind are a) they do need to be set out to air out the chemical smell for a few days, and b) they run wide and long so definitely size down at least half a size from normal. My feet are a tad wide. I originally ordered the 7.5 medium based on my normal Merrell size and the reviews I read. Plus, I contacted customer service to ask what they were hearing from folks about the sizing. However, the 7.5 medium was too wide and too long. I then got a size 7 medium. They stay on my feet better and are not too long. They do slip in the heel a bit, but this is expected since they are clogs/mules and are not intended to hug the back of the foot. I recommend spraying with a suede protectant before wearing the first time. The description says synthetic shearling, so I got what I expected. The lining's 50% wool and 50% poly. These are comfortable winter slip-ons for around the house or short times outside in the North; they're not made for spending hours outside in sub-freezing weather. So they are good for my intended purpose and I would buy again.

Had to return them. I wear a size 6 in almost all shoes. I ordered 6 w but these were more like size 8 when I received them. Horribly too too large. And wanted to exchange them but none in smaller size. The sandals I ordered from here fit perfect and were size 6. Not sure what the deal is but if I ever do this again for this shoe style, it will be size 5 med. Good luck to ya's and hope this helps someone else.

I have last year's version of this shoe, but I have to tell you, it is SO comfortable and cozy warm! The fit is true to size. The shearling lining makes it feel like I am walking on clouds; soft and airy. And I like the thicker sole for when I go outside and have my feet protected from the cold/dampness of the mornings. I don't even need to wear socks!

This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever tried and I have other great Merrel Shoes. The only issue is that the size runs larger than her other shoes.

These seemed super comfy but were weirdly large. At least a full size bigger than my usual shoe size. I wonder if the pair I got was mid-sized. I hope not because I liked them enough to order an exchange and hope they'll fit in a smaller size!

One must half-size down in this shoe. It is not the Encore of previous iterations. The main shoe is just as sturdy, but even a half size down leaves a lot of wiggle, which translates to less stability. I generally wear two pairs of socks; this shoe was sized improperly-both in relation to one's regular shoe size, as well as in comparison to the Encore of years past. For reference, I have many Encore from throughout the years and still own and use them. The good part is the support did not change at all in Encore 4. Encore 2 had a very bad support platform, not the normal shape. Encore 4 foot platform is like the originals. Inside, the "shearling" lining is not nearly as thick as it used to be. It is not secured or cut to fit without bunching up while walking. This is very disappointing. Merrell, please fix this. Merrell replacement inserts do not make it much better. Color description "raisin" is very accurate. It's not burgundy; it definitely has a subtle plum hue. It is a beautiful leather shoe. Plan your purchase knowing the above details.

I had some of these years ago and loved them, mostly because of the sherpa lining. Unfortunately, the sherpa is now synthetic. Disappointed. Glad I got them on sale, cause I'd have been really upset if I had paid full price.

I slide forward in these slippers. I didn't at first, but after a couple of weeks, they've become painful to wear.

I bought these as a quick slip on for post race and around the house. They have a solid hard sole and work great indoors and out. The problem is the sole padding bunches up and comes out.

I love the shoes, but the lining is dreadful. It keeps falling off/out. otherwise it would be a 5 star.
