I found these online and a local store ordered them. I broke my ankle on downtown Chicago ice several years ago and now I feel much safer with these wonderful shoes

I bought these to use as slippers but find I don't want to take them off when I go outside, so I just ordered a couple more pairs : D I added my own insole and now they are PERFECT. I did have to go down a full size - I normally wear a 10 in other brands like Ugg but need a 9 wide in these.

I love these shoes. Wear them to work and for winter walking. They are good on a flat terrain trail or pavement. .

Love these shoes! Wear them everywhere. I've bought several different styles of Merrell's for 20yrs now and they are still great shoes. The Encore Ice 4 are warm and comfortable great for cold day's when you just want to slip on and go. Merrell make a great shoe in many different types and style. They all seem to fit like a glove and I've never had to really break them in. It's like they are perfect right out of the box. Thanks Merrell for making a great shoe.

I've never had a more comfortable slip on that stays on. The lip on the back of the shoe is just enough to keep it on and still allow for easy on and off. The sole is deep enough, and thick enough to keep the upper out of the winter muck. It looks good with almost anything. I wear a lot of active wear dresses with tights and these are perfect for that. And to top it off, they are warm. Can't go wrong with these.
