Too short and too narrow. And not very attractive in the black color.

Too small. i ordered my usual size. Without socks they are narrow. With socks I can not get my foot into.

These shoes are stylish but didn’t work for me. The little rim on the heel bugged me. I wore them for a minute or two and kept stepping on that little edge. I promptly processed a refund. I ended up ordering a pair of Born leather slides with no rim on the back. Much better for me.

Felt a bit short. The back of the clogs turned inward, which was very uncomfortable.

Having read the reviews, I ordered a half size smaller than my usual 8 1/2 W. They originally felt fine but after a few days, they still seem a tad too big. Also as another reviewer commented, there' was an annoying creak - it seems to happen from time to time. I bought these to walk the dog in the yard when the grass is wet without getting my feet wet - these are good for that. Maybe getting them wet stopped the creak . . .

The toe box could be a bit higher. Support is not great, I wore these to work and no way is there enough support for hours on your feet. , I work as an RN. I'm keeping them for casual errands as a quick slip on shoe though. They look nice on.

One was wider than the other.One was narrow and one wider and I buy Merrell all the time.

The fit appears to be okay. Will need to put on socks an walk around before making a final decision.

i am a size 10 and earlier this month i purchased merrell jungle mocs in 10.5 a for my added orthotics and the fit was perfect. . these merrell encore nova 4 seem at least a half size smaller, probably more, and there was no way the orthotic would fit. so sorry to send them back since the jungle moc was such a success.

These shoes are beautiful but the instep is too high and felt very loose. I tried 2 sizes but none worked.

I have worn this style for several years, usually fitting right out of the box. This time, the fit was “off,” as though the arch areas were in the wrong place. Needed to return.

Everything to measurement specs. However, my toes hit the roof part and it sure hurt. Very uncomfortable for that matter. I’m not sure if it’s caused by the design of the front part or if the leather is too tough and rigid that there is no give, but it was stiff and consequently, my feet hurt from wearing these. Too bad bc I like everything else about it, just can’t make it work. Returned.

I’ve worn this style of Merrell since 2004. I still have the first pair. The style has changed over time. I’ve always worn a 6.5 in this shoe. I just ordered this in a 6.5 and it is too short. The show looks “ok” but it doesn’t have the quality look and detail that it has always had. It looks very cheap where the sole joins the upper part of the shoe. Whatever the door is made of looks like melted rubber. I did not reorder in a 7. I will keep shining up the pairs I have. There is lots of wear left in them. I’m very disappointed in the way Merrell has deteriorated. I doubt I’ll keep trying to buy from them. I’ve found a style in Rockport that is workable with inserts.

Very disappointed in quality. "Leather" is not shiny like photo. I guess it's supposed to be suede but I doubt it's more than made made materials trying to masquerade . The inside feels like Encore Breeze with all its odor retention problems. I, too, bought Encore 4 about 10 years age and hoped to replace them. But time marches on.
