Love these boots. They fit perfectly. There is no breaking in period. Though I haven't been on any long hikes yet.

I hike almost every day. I needed a pair of boots that would function well in snow and cold. These boots serve very well. They are leather and supposed to be waterproof but I treated them anyway. They are higher than previous high top boots, which initially made for pressure on my lower part of my shin. I chose not to fasten the top loop as I break in the boots. This has alleviated the pressure.

Perfect Fit & support from right out of the box. Love the fact my feet don't hurt or ache after a full day.

These are great so far. My kid needed a wider width, comfortable boot (they are on their feet all day for work). They find them really comfortable.

They are definitely not wide as I have read in many reviews. So I allowed for that by ordering a half size larger. One day to break in. I have only wore Merrells for the past 5 years or so. They work great for me. Good quality.

Amazing comfort and great grip on the rain. One of the best boots I ever have. Usually I am 10, but this one had to change it for 10.5 size

Super happy with these hiking shoes. I hate wearing shoes and tend to wear very lightweight and low profile soles. I needed a pair of hiking boots with good ankle support for my trip the the dolomite mountains and these boots are perfect! Super comfortable and lightweight. I still feel connected to the ground but have good cushioning on my feet.

I hiked through a canyon and back last weekend on my first excursion with my Merrells. Even though I didn't do much to break them in before taking that on, my feet felt great during and after!

Great pair of boots, fit nicely with no break-in period. Good grip and lightweight! Packed them up to Alaska and they were awesome!

We just got back from camping - these boots were on my feet most of the days and I was very happy with them. Rainy weather but my feet were warm and dry. I wore them walking my dog a few days before going camping, so break in period was minimal. Only negative thing I could say is I did fall down - which I don't usually do. I slipped on a wet log. Maybe I was feeling too confident of my new amazing boots - but the bruises are fading and I still love my boots.

Purchased the size that I wear in running shoes and they fit perfectly. Feel very sturdy, no break in period and were comfortable the first time that I went walking in them. Very happy with purchase!

Wonderful shoe. Couldn't have ask for any better. The fit like a glove, love them, they also have a good grip on slippery areas. True to size.

So far so good. Only have worn a free times. But I think I would purchase again.

No blisters after first wear. They offer minimal cushioning while walking on cement but improve on snow and dirt trails. I usually wear a 7.5 and narrow feet. These hikers just fit. Active walking in cold weather my feet were warm enough but think standing around they lack insulation. They are light.

These are my first pair of Merrell boots. I typically wear a size 7 but, to my surprise, had to go up to a size 8. They fit great, the toes are roomy, the sides and arch are perfectly snug. I love them. The only quirky thing about them (and it does not bother me really) is my color is Brindle (not Boulder) but one boot is a lighter color (a tan brown) than the other (a greenish brown). Has anyone else notice variations in the color? They still look great.

I purchased these boots for walks and walking my dog. I live out in the country. This is my first pair of Merrell boots and so far so good. They keep your feet warm and are very comfortable. I normally wear a size 8, but went up a size to a 9. Glad I did. I like the extra room in case I want to wear a heavier pair of socks.

I love it. It's light and comfy. Looks good too.
