This was a large disappointment. I wanted to love them.... It is narrow in the toe box like the other review, but mostly on the inside. There is ample room elsewhere in the toe. I felt the shoe all along the inside as I walked, and it was not comfortable. I have a somewhat narrow foot, and have worn Clifton 5s religiously, and in comparison these were not as cushiony, awkward, and not designed as well. The way my foot set in them was as though I had the wrong size, but I know I did not. What I did like is there is a stretchy fabric from the tongue to the sides that felt like it kept my foot in place. What I did not like besides the fit, is the new extended heel piece, since it just felt annoying, and the extra inch of shoe off the back does not lend to better running for me personally but a more awkward stride. Plus for my10.5 size, it looked like I had gigantic size 12 feet. Sorry these are going back and I will continue to hope that the old Clifton comes back to life......

If you are considering Cliftons, don't buy these! Clifton 7s are comfortable and run true to size. These were painful the moment I put them on and apparently aren't allowed to be returned as the Hoka website advertises.

I like Hokas for work, because I do a lot of walking. Most styles I have tried feel great. The Clifton Edge started causing knee and hip pain. I also have no use for the extended piece in the back.

I did about 40 miles in them hoping I would break them in and they would be feeling good, but that wasn't the case. They caused my feet to ache. I returned within 30 day guarantee

My feet are wide. These sneakers are so wide. I first bought a seven and a half , these were too tight. I exchanged for an eight and these are gigantic. I wore the sneakers with socks and my foot was sliding around in the sneaker. So very unhappy with these sneakers. Tired of mailing back for an exchange.

I started developing hip and knee pain after switching to this shoe. Once I switched back to other brands (ASICS/Brooks), I stopped experiencing pain while running

I work long hours and stand most of them; usually between 12,000 & 15,000 steps daily. These shoes killed my feet, more so that any other brand. Several peers recommended them, but they did not work for me. I wore them two shift and couldn’t any longer, the pain was unbearable.

My first pair of Hoka Brand Shoes. I've heard such great things about these shoes, so I was super excited to purchase and receive my first pair EVER. The arrival for the shoes were super fast, but when I opened the box you can easily see and tell the shoes been worn and damaged. I was extremely disappointed and upset to have spent so much on these one pair of shoes and excited to finally get them to be let down in biggest way. After this I don't think I will be purchasing another pair and sharing my first and last time experience regarding this order. Hope and best of luck that this doesn't happen to another customer of yours.

These shoes are two inches longer than my regular New Balance shoes! I've been tripping over my own feet because of the extra length which the photos don't really show. For this price, they should feel like butter on my feet, but they are about a half size smaller than anticipated.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance

Is something very different Zappos? First time in many years they botched an order. First - Sent the wrong size and it took an entire week to get here (used to take 24 hours). Also, my shoes were in a really weird box — not a shoe box and not one I have ever seen from Zappos or HOKA. Waste of time, energy and $$$

This is a really uncomfortable and unforgiving running shoe. The cushioning is terrible, the tongue fits in a way that makes the shoe too tight and uncomfortable. A great dissapointment for a Hoka Shoe (I've always worn Bondis or Cliftons). I have a narrow foot, high arch and neutral stance.

I have purchased 4 or 5 pairs of HOKAS over the last several years, the first pair on the recommendation of my podiatrist. I was very disappointed in the pair of Clifton Edge. I dislike the style of the sole of the heel with the inch stick out past the heel. It has almost caused me to fall several times. I miss the loop at the top of the heel to help pull the shoe on. The rubbery material of the tongue makes the shoe hard to get on. Your foot doesn't want to slide down into the shoe, it gets caught by the tongue. I have actually used pliers to pull the tongue up when I slide my foot in. I wish I had sent them back a year ago instead of trying to work with them. I loved the color, but that is about all.

Loved the style of this shoe, but it was extremely tight across the top of the foot, even though it is a wide shoe.

I dislike the new tongue and the way the sole flares out beyond the upper. Please go back to the standard Clifton series!!!!

The shoe didn't fit. And I wasn't crazy about how big the heel of the shoe stuck out in back. I ended up returning this pair & am currently looking at other kinds of Hokas. Thank you.
