Bought these to replace a worn out pair that lasted years. These are super hard to get on a take off and don't seem to have the same quality of the previous versions which has been the case with other northface items.

These are nothing like the original pair that dropped 5-6 years ago. My gloves ripped in 7 days

I read the reviews, but gave these gloves the benefit of the doubt since almost every product will have bad reviews. This is a wanting to anyone considering buying these because they want their hands to be warm while you use your phone outside in the cold. DON'T! They are not warm in the slightest. I just used them for two days straight while the temp with windchill was 9 degrees and I might as well have been barehanded. Such a shame. Why not makes them fleece lined or something? Disappointed in these.

I bought this gloves for our winter trip to Italy, the idea was to get something light, and specially thin enough to be able to operate my cellphone while strolling the cities, unfortunately after around a week of normal use, many of the seams around the knuckles on several fingers (both hands) became loose and tore apart. I had to throw away, since I could not afford carrying useless gear, therefore won't be able to return to the store.

The sizing is appalling on these. I wear a size 10 glove, can't even get my hands in the XL.

I loved the original Etip gloves. This new version was redesigned and now has a very constrictive wrist that makes it very difficult to put on and take off. Once on, the glove fits as it should. This is a problem since a well-fitting glove that is impossible to get on or off is not going to fit well if you choose the next size up just to be able to get it on and off. Like some other reviewers I was unable to return this, so my solution to make the gloves usable was to purposefully stretch out the wrist band by placing it around my knuckles and thumb and opening/closing my hand for a minute.

I was looking to buy my third set of the the same gloves that I bought three or four years ago and seven ir eight years before that. Off to the same NF store I bought the other two sets up and although these look the same, when trying them on, I could not get them past my wrist. I thought it was just me but in reading the comments below, I see it appears to be a common issue with the new style. Time to find another brand which is a shame because I really liked these gloves.

The glove was near impossible to put on but once it was one it fit fine. Almost ripped it in the process so I recommend going a size up. Also, why is the tag is such an uncomfortable spot? 1/5

The seams began undoing almost immediately and now almost every finger is exposed (after about 5 months of use).

I bought these with high hopes since everything I buy from TNF is SOO WARM but these gloves are useless- not only do they not keep your hands warm they tore within a month of receiving them. Only positive is they were excellent for e tip otherwise useless! I couldn't imagine wearing these outside for longer than it takes to pump gas in 32 degree or colder weather.

A hole tore in the outer seam of the pinky finger within the first week without any known damage to it. Also, the gloves fit small.

My husband was so excited about these gloves. They are made out of recycled materials (huge bonus points with us) and are the perfect thickness for being outside on cold days. He hadn't had them for more than a month when the stitching started to come undone on the cuffs from putting them on. It has now been a couple months and both gloves have huge holes on the cuffs. You would think that maybe the gloves are too small and that's why they tore, but that isn't the case. We are really sad that they have already lived their life with us.

I owned the previous etip model and loved them. The old model had an angled stitch on the back of the hand that allowed for unrestricted movement. Unfortunately, the new "recycled" model has a straight horizontal stitch that completely restricts hand movement. They also fit slightly larger than last year's model. If I could return them and buy a leftover from last year, I definitely would.

I used this primarily for dog walking. Unfortunately, the finger seams on multiple fingers ripped within a couple of times of wearing them.

Got as a gift, and finger seam fell apart within first week of use. Since they were a gift, return policy won't allow a return/exchange. Only option is to pay out of pocket for shipping to have them "repaired" - leaving me without the new gloves for the next month or so.

Gave as a gift. Stitching was incomplete and so there were holes. No refund after 3 weeks so I still can't replace my gift for my son.

I had these gloves previously purchased back in 2017. They were the most comfortable, stylish gloves I owned. Wore them all the time, and they never wore out. The reason I purchased the new gloves, is because I lost my old pair. There was nothing wrong with them. This new design is awful, there is no stretch to the wrist part of the glove, making them extremely difficult to get on and off. Great I guess if you never want them to fall off, but that was never an issue with the original design. Not sure why they changed to this new design but its a huge fail and disappointment.
