I'm not sure what these gloves are designed for, but it certainly isn't warmth. I live in a city that has relatively mild winters (average midday high of 50s in December). I wanted gloves for the chilly morning walks with my dog. These gloves provide ZERO warmth. Within 5 minutes of walking, I might as well have on no gloves at all. I ultimately replaced these gloves with a pair of inexpensive ones from a popular online wholesaler that does the trick. Save your money and look elsewhere.

I bought these last year, only worn for one season and the e-tip (to be able to use your phone) no longer works and is worn down. I was disappointed as that was the main reason for the purchase. At first, they were great but wouldn't purchase again.

These gloves stain my fingernails black each time I wear them.

Not happy with the quality of these. I own several pair of Northface gloves, and I can tell the material is much thinner. The elastics are not supportive in the wrist area like they used to be. The sizing has also changed. You now need to size up at least 1 size. Weird fit. Not like older styles. The quality of north face has gone down to match other low quality brands they own like vans. Unfortunate.

The seam goes right across the thumb. It was quite uncomfortable. I returned them. They did work with a touchscreen.

Wanted to love these gloves, but they weren't elastic/stretchy at all at the wrists, so I couldn't get them on. Ordered right size and length was correct, very strange why they would design them like this.

I love these gloves and how they fit. Perfect for driving since I have a 30 minute commute to work and live in Northern New York.

Very disappointed in these gloves. While they look stylish on and are comfortable, they absolutely do NOT keep my hands warm. I purchased them mainly to wear while walking the dog and running errands. Even in 30-40 F weather my hands are cold after less than 10 minutes of being outside. Not worth the money.

Return the glove because it was small on my wife hand. So can not rate it!

The gloves definitely don't live up to the reputation of the North Face brand. I purchased these gloves for my girlfriend for Christmas and while they are stylish, they don't keep her hands warm. She wore them in 35/40 degree weather to the park for 30 mins and her hands were cold the entire time. Again, went for a walk to the grocery store, same temperature and timeframe, cold hands. Besides that point, they do work with phones which is nice, but what's point of gloves if they don't keep your hands warm?

I ordered a medium as my wife is smaller, the gloves came and I don't think they could fit a 10 year old, and all I wanted to do was exchange for size and that is not available through North face

I ordered these in a Medium as my wife is a smaller women, when the gloves came they seriously wouldn't fit a 10 year old. And the policy of not being able to exchange them, I was told I'd have to return a re-order, that's so inconvenient in world where everyone does exchanges. It made a Christmas gift not be there

These gloves suck! I have used them for walks with the dogs and my fingers go numb within 5 mins in mild weather. They might be warm for winter running but standing still or walking they do not keep my hands warm.
They do look nice and are compatible with phone screens.

The xsmall gloves are not xsmall and are too big so I am returning. North face used to make very nice women's extra small etip gloves that fit perfectly.. it's unfortunate they changed the style and sizing. I am returning

These gloves were great for about a month. Then the elastic begins to fray from the seams and after about six months there were hole in the fingertips.
And let's be clear about usage here. I was typing in them, using my touchscreen and making cups of tea. A couple of times I needed to paint stuff in the freezing cold so I put disposable gloves on over them and did the painting. This was no outdoor camping adventure.
For the amount they cost they should last year's.
They are not worth the money.
I have since discovered that most cycling gloves are etip, and there are a range of different warmths and prices. They are much more durable.

Wore these today to walk my dogs in 35 weather. I didn't last even 2 minutes with these on my hands before they were freezing cold. You might as well not even be wearing gloves at all. If these were not a gift I would return them immediately. Perhaps they would be ok if you exercised in them, but a brisk walk did nothing to warm my hands.

These gloves didn't keep hands warm at all! I had to take them off for my hands to even warm up! It's like they made your hands colder by putting them on! Don't know why or how. This is the one item from The Northface that I've been disappointed in. So sad.

I am so disappointed in these gloves! My first pair had a hole in the left fingertip just after the one year mark. I purchased a new pair only for those to rip at the seam along the thumb too! In New England weather, I don't have 6-8 weeks to wait for the warranty. I am so disappointed in these gloves. I have bought many North Face products and none of them have been as dissatisfactory as these gloves.

I Expected more out of Northface products for the price I paid for these gloves, I have many of the other Northface products that are great! I would not recommend these gloves unless maybe you are living in Florida and plan to Not travel anywhere outside of Florida!!! I will be returning these gloves!! I wore these while in New York City, had to double up with another set of gloves underneath and my finger tips still were frozen.

The seam in the gloves split open after two uses and the material appears worn even though they are only two months old with minimal use.

I wish I would have read reviews prior to buying these in store--and removing the tags! I can't believe how ineffective these gloves are at doing their one and only job--keeping my hands warm. By Minnesota standards, a 17 degree day in January is pretty mild, and yet my hands felt like I was out there in below zero temperatures without any gloves at all. North Face, please don't indicate on your tag that these are good in "very cold" temperatures. These are clearly not suitable for anything below freezing.

I am really disappointed about these gloves. They are not warm at all!
I have small hands and was so excited about these gloves cause the XS one fits perfectly. They are flexible and comfortable. Etip works great. But they are definitely not warm. I wore them for a 10 min walk and my fingers were freezing and red all over. And it was only 28 F. Definitely not worth the money.

I bought size small and they fit great, however that's the only thing I like about these gloves. They do not keep your hands warm at all and the Etip function does not work. In addition, the gloves are peeling by the figure tips (I have only worn them a few times while driving). Way overpriced for gloves that do not do what they are supposed to do!
