I bought for hiking in winter. My $8 gloves did just as well. Very disappointed!

Doesn't keep your hands warm, wind blows right through them.

I live in one of the windest cities in the US (winds are constantly 20mph with gusts up to 50mph), these gloves are warm only on days where the wind isn't blowing super hard. The technology aspect works which is nice but i was really hoping for the price these would work for when it's 30 and below.

I lose circulation in my hands, mainly in my fingertips and I thought these gloves would keep my hands warm. They do not!!! I have to use a "liner" inside this glove, which of course, does not allow me to use my device. I wanted the functionality of using my cell phone or tablet while keeping my hands warm. Also, I do not like all the white writings on the glove, it looks too stylish..I understand the "North Face" logo but the power button logo which does nothing is too much. The plus to this glove is that I can snap the two together so I will not lose one and the actual hand part does not me to grip my phone or tablet with no slipping. However, the glove is not durable at the fingertips; the fabric is snagging. The fabric in which the palm of my hand fits seems to be made well; I can't understand why the fingertips area would be different. I am picking up things and touching things, the fingertip area of the glove is getting more use. I like the glove to a certain degree but it is not really worth what I paid for it. I do not recommend if you are looking for a glove for warmth and to be used outdoors. In the car driving; the glove is ok because you can use the car's heater to stay warm. Since the company offers a lifetime warranty, I will probably look into getting a replacement due to the snagging.

I live in the Chicago area. Temp was 12 degrees F today. Could feel the cold steering weather through the gloves. They May keep my hands warm in my cold office but not outside. The e-tip works well with my phone. These will work in the fall and spring in northern states but not in the winter for outside.

After only 2 weeks of wear, the silicone grippers all started to fall off. This turned one of the BEST things about these gloves (great grip) into one of the WORST things about these gloves (poor durability).

I live on the coast of SC and needed a glove for everyday use during winter. Our cold temperatures average about thirty degrees. My hands were constantly cold wearing these gloves. The ETIP feature works great and they weren't bulky at all. They met all of my needs except they could not keep my hands warm. I took them back and found a pair of gloves at another store that were on clearance for $.97 and keep my hands warmer than these did.

A little disappointed that the North Face logo on the right glove is peeling and looks like was maybe misaligned when it was silk screened on the glove? Surprising for a first quality NF product. I've been happier with outlet purchases. The hassle of a return is more aggravating than anything else. :(

I like the style and comfort of these gloves BUT they are not warm at all. I've worn them during the cold Chicago temperatures and they are just not worth the money.

These are not exceptional gloves, and from north face at $45 I expect more. I'll preface by saying they are a bit small for me, but of course thats based on the size I ordered. However, the seams on the insides of the fingers, at the fingertips are really thick, annoying, and press on my fingers. That may be slightly due to the smaller size but still, why does the seam need to be so obnoxious.
Secondly, they actually came with a hole in the finger, in the seam between the fingers actually. Its small, so I can sew it up, but again, for $45 dollar gloves? Lastly the e-tip is nothing special, the way the gloves are designed you can't type so you can't do much more than touch commands like unlocking and taking pictures, etc. Its cold here and I'm too lazy to return them (mail order), but if I had tried them on in the store I most likely would not have gotten them.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
These fit fine, they worked better when using my phone than most other gloves I've tried, and the grippy parts held on to my phone quite securely. Yay! But after 3 minutes of walking the dog in about 30 degree weather, my fingers were cold. After a 10 minute walk, my fingers were numb! These are not meant for winter use in truly cold temperatures. Perhaps they would be good for a cool fall day, but definitely not winter. They're getting returned unfortunately.

These gloves have e-tip for using devices without removing the gloves. Epic fail. Sent back for refund.

Wore twice and somehow seam start coming apart. Tried to exchange but instead they had me fill out a form for it to be fixed and stated that it was going to take up to 8 weeks.

I like North Face and decided to treat myself to a new pair of winter gloves which I thought these were. Unfortunately these are not warm at all. Maybe good for spring and fall but definitely not winter. Very disappointed.

Not the glove I was looking for at all. Not really sure the purpose of this glove. Is a driving glove. It is just because they have an Etip?

Loved the color on these. I had a pair in black from years ago that lasted a while. The seam was different on those, it didn't go all the way across the back of the hand and had more room for movement. These were too tight just at that seam.
