I have size 8 1/2 feet. I order 8 in UGG boots, so I first ordered an 8. It was much too big and especially wide, and my feet slid around in the toe box. The strap would not hold my foot. It would slip out & my toes and foot with it. So I ordered the Size 7 in coral. The strap fit perfectly and the toe box felt snug at first but, after 2 days, was just right. It’s still fits snugly enough that I’m not concerned about it stretching more. It just feels like I needed to break it in a little at first and now the fit is consistent. I’m not sure if sizing down 1 1/2 sizes works for everybody, because I do have short toes. I think that some peoples heel or toes would be too long. The only reason I really wear an 8 1/2 is because I have bunions that make me need a wide toebox. So this toebox is really wide, since I have not worn a size below 8 1/2 in years. The coral is stunning. My only issue is they are already looking dirty, after only wearing them outside a few times. And I have worn them only on the sidewalk and in my car. Especially the platform bottom is already totally gray on the lower quarter of the heel and toe. The fabric runner between the insole and platform is stained-up, too. I think I’ll try dry cleaning, as spot treatment hasn’t helped much, even with the UGG sheepskin kit. I had wanted the white, but it’s several times lighter on top than the coral, so that’s a no go. I want the black now, but have heard they dye the feet, so not sure. I’d order them in darker colors such as navy, rust, purple, burgundy. or olive, if they had them (they could accent them with pink, lime, gray, orange, and other lighter colors for the logo to brighten them, with darker fur, so it doesn’t look dingy. They are the most comfortable and practical of slippers ever, though. I’m so glad they have the strap to keep them on but don’t have for on the bottom or sides because I wouldn’t be able to wear that in the wet climate I live in. They are extremely comfortable, more like UGG boots than UGG sneakers, non-fuzz sandals, and shoes (I am an UGG connoisseur and I am now a fuzz convert). I’m very excited to have a plush sandal that stays on for summer. I much prefer these to cheaper brands with sweaty faux fur, instead of the breathable sheepskin. Disco Slides are LIFE in Spring & Summer. More bright & dark colors, please (coral is the only one that’s not pastel or neutral)! I almost would get another coral pair for when they get too dirty looking, but I’d rather have some thing new.
