The laces are short, so it doesn't allow the foot opening to expand as much as it should. Order a full size up!

It is a very nice boot. However, the entrance is very narrow. The foot size is fine, but once I put the warm and thick socks on my kid, we struggled to get them in. Once the foot was inside, he still had plenty of room. I ordered a size larger so they last another winter, but considering the entrance is very narrow, I doubt he will be able to insert his foot next year.

I love these style of these boots as they fit more like a comfortable shoe instead of a clunky boot. However, they are very narrow. We had to return because my son couldn't fit his foot in. We were bummed. Really cute style!

The boot was a full size smaller than other Sorel boots and unfortunately when my son walked in them they rubbed his heel, so this is the second pair we need to send back.

I have a different style of Sorel Whitney and I adore them. these though, are nothing like that: my son could barely put it on as the neck of the shoe was too narrow. Once we fought it on, he complained that the sole didn't bend and the heel reinforce was hurting him. too bad because they are really nice otherwise. Maybe better for a flatter foot...

I love Sorel boots. I purchased this Whitney style last year and found it to be a full size smaller than my other Sorels. Just getting around to returning it now. It’s incredibly narrow.

The fit was very weird on the Sorrels. My sons feet are very average but these boots were a good inch too long but still pinched on the sides.

Too narrow

My 9 year old have narrow feet, but this shoe way too narrow, and uncomfortable.

I love the boots , but they run very narrow , so sad I had to return Both pairs

My son usually wears a 4 and couldn’t even get his foot into the 5.

Really wanted to like this design. Modern - good colors. However, really hard to get on and off. Sizes ran very small.

We returned these boots, they were much too narrow and my son has narrow feet so I thought it wouldn't be an issue.

I should have listened to the reviews, my son who already has narrow feet felt the boots way too narrow. Hard to get his foot inside and when he did, the boots felt too snug. I'll be returning.
