The fit is spot on, super comfortable next to skin and the dual layer design works as advertised..wicks moisture away from the body and keeps you warm and dry all day long. I will definitely purchase a few more of these.

This was an awesome choice, definitely one of the better merino wool base layers Ive used. Super comfortable and kept me very warm. Also love that it came in more options than just black.

Warm, comfortable and does a great job at managing moisture! Seems to not get too stinky after a couple days of using it during high output activity, so that's a plus. I like it so much I picked up a second one as well!

This is absolutely my favorite base layer. The merino and Lifa fibers help this to be a warm base layer that still breathes when doing a high intensity activity! It's my go to for skiing, outdoor work and even just an extra layer for those really cold days running errands. If you're in a cold climate, it's a must!

I absolutely have to agree with all of the stellar reviews for the Lifa Merino Midweight Crew! It is warm, lightweight and comfortable. The Lifa interior makes it far softer and more comfortable than most wool pieces. The fit is spot on for a Medium and the sleeve length is just right. I can use this as a base layer or wear it as a stand alone piece under an insulated midlayer. Pair it with a midlayer and a shell, and you have one awesome outfit.

I've only skied a few days in this but so far I'm very happy with it. It's got a slim athletic fit that is great for layering but casual and comfy enough that I want to wear it all evening. It also wicks sweat well and doesn't smell even though I haven't washed it all week. If you've got an athletic build it will probably be a perfect fit.

Really nice baselayer runs a touch more fitted than I prefer. But will be a nice layering piece while skiing. Wish it was a little more relaxed fit to wear in everyday life. Would purchase again for skiing though.

This is my go-to everyday underlayer. I toss this on under my work clothes or stash it in my car so its ready as soon as Im off work, I head out to the mountains with my lifa infinity shell and my midweight; not a single complaint. I ski the east coast and do plenty of night skiing, the wind can be brutal, but Im so well insulated that Im able to perform more concentrated. Highly recommend this HH midweight underlayer!

Best base layer I have ever owned. The Lifa Merino Midweight Crew is my go-to for my cold-weather outdoor activities. The Lifa Midweight crew is heavy enough to keep me warm, but not so heavy I overheat. The breathability of this base layer does a great job of keeping me dry all day long. To go along with everything else, HH has made this product so comfortable.

I'm usually not the type of person to use a baselayer since most aren't very comfortable, but this is one of the most comfortable baselayers I've ever worn. Even with the price point of $100, I would honestly recommend this to anyone interested in a high-quality top.

I love this combination of materials! The LIFA layer does a great job of wicking away moisture when you're active, and the merino wool outer layer keeps you warm AND comfortable without overheating. When bouldering or doing routes in cold weather, it's a perfect layer for the first few routes. It looks great when worn as an outer layer and fits even better!

The midweight crew is always an easy layer to throw on when heading to the hill or for a skin on a colder day. The Lifa Merino has been my favorite baselayer for many years now. Helly Hansen for sure has some of the most dialed wool/synthetic blend baselayer on the market! The difference is in the details. These baselayers are designed to take advantage of the benefits of wool while also using Helly Hansen's top of the line Lifa synthetic fibers. That makes them noticeable more comfortable than similar merino baselayers, not itchy at all and super breathable as a baselayer should be. They're definitely worth checking out!
