I'm very pleased with this coat. It is very warm and is able to withstand the brutal NY winter. Harsh winds are no match as I don't feel anything while wearing the coat. I've worn it in sleeting rain and heavy snow and it dries fast. I like the upper chest pockets with zippers which are very convenient. I'm 5'5, chesty, and it fits well. I still have room to layer and not feel uncomfortable. I got the Navy in a Medium.

This parka fitted very nice..even has room for a sweater if you choose. Great for the wintry weather..not bulky...easy to move around. It also has straps attached as the picture shows that you can carried your coat on your back.

The coat is pretty heavy and big but will keep you warm I'm sad I have to return it for a smaller size but definitely will be buying again !!!

This is massive and heavy. Tough to zip up. Will keep you warm in a tundra. This thing is made for the coldest temps. Just way too heavy for every day use. Restricts movement.

This coat replaced one I had for the past 10 years. The length is better - hits my knees, has water resistant fabric, and has hand warmer pockets too in case I forget my gloves. It's great for wearing around New York City when I'm either heading out to meet up with friends, run errands, or commuting to work. The coat is a heavy weight, and super warm. It dipped down to 12 degrees with a wind chill that made it feel like 2 degrees one day, and it kept me very warm. I originally ordered an XL, but it was too large, so I took it back to a store and exchanged it for a L, which fit much better. The XL just was too large in the shoulders and the sleeve length was too long for me. Sizing down helped significantly.

I'm a hoodie type of girl, but I was going to WI for a Pond Hockey tournament. I researched coats to handle the temperatures and I'm so glad I decided on this one! I was extremely warm in -18 degrees, for multiple hours. I was aqble to wear a base layer and stayed warm. On the days closer to -20, I wore a hoodie underneath and stayed quite warm. I highly recommend this parka!

It's nice and comfy, and it's perfect to wear during the Winter. The only small issue is the size. I'm 5'3 and have averaged body. I ordered S, it's a little bit tight, I can't wear hoodies in it. But the sleeves are perfect fit. So be careful when you choose the size.

I needed a REAL coat. Not a cute or sexy coat. This coat is amazing. It's been in the single digits & I still go on my morning walks & stay extremely warm! Great wind protection too. Beast coast I've ever owned. No cons lol

Bought for mum and she loves it

This is my go to jacket when it's 25 degrees or less. Which here in Maine is pretty much the every day between January and March. Perfect for commuting, walking the dog, etc. I am 5'2" and 121lbs and got the Small and I have plenty of room for an extra vest of sweater underneath. A must in New England.

Truly love this jacket and it's a must to have especially with these extremely cold temperatures. The fit for me is great, as I am 5'2" and a small frame. The sleeves are just slightly too long, but the hand covers work well and so am content. All in all, I am delighted with my warm cozy jacket as it suits me for my early morning walks with the dog. Thanks North Face !

Hands down the warmest coat I've ever owned! Keeps me super cozy and dry in NYC! I am 5'5 120 lbs and the small was a little too big for me but I exchanged for an extra small and it was perfect!

I was looking for a waterproof/wind proof/warm jacket for winter, and this jacket fits the bill. I moved back north from Florida. This is a well made jacket, but on the bulky side, and I wish the hood was removable. The jacket is great for those extreme cold days, but too warm for those more moderate winter days. Will look for a 2 in 1 jacket.

I was looking for a warm winter coat with a double zipper. I purchased this one because of the great reviews and it was on sale, and it did not disappoint! This is the warmest and comfiest coat I have ever owned. I have other North Face jackets and have had North Face winter coats in the past but was hesitant spending so much on something seasonal. After wearing this coat just a few days I knew it was a great purchase and all of my buyer's remorse was gone. It feels a tad big/bulky, but I like that all the fill is on the inside of the coat so it has a smooth and sleek appearance on the outside. The parka length is great and blocks all of the wind. I really love all of the features, especially the pockets and sleeve thumb holes. I also love that North Face jackets have the 2-way zipper so I can easily sit and drive wearing the coat without worrying the zipper will separate. I am petite (5'0, 135lbs, curvy) and usually wear size medium. I purchased a medium. The sleeves are a tad long and the hem of the coat hits about 2 inches above my knee.

Love this jacket, extremely warm. Never had a jacket that's kept me warmer. Love all the pockets and the look is sleek. I'm 5'2" and I got the XS and feels like it fits very well.
