It's a nice fit, looks good, and the material is excellent. Looking forward to some cooler weather where I can wear it more often.

SIZE DOWN!!! FWIW, my build is tall and medium/slim at 6' 4" and 220-230#. I would strongly recommend trying them on prior to ordering, if possible. I'm normally an XL, or XL tall for long sleeves and coats/jackets, but a regular Large suited my preferences for this particular item due to the 'loose' fit. Very warm, extremely comfortable, and very well crafted!! I love that the hand pockets are also lined. The chest and two interior pockets are quite convenient, and add another degree of utility and functionality to the vest. Comfortable immediately. Carhartt- if you're listening, please, for the love of God do away with this 'loose' fit. It's impractical for online consumers and misleading. I've spent thousands of dollars on your clothing for more than twenty years now, so I feel that my feedback has validity. With sizes that reach into 5XL, surely you can leave the sizes where they were with just the 'original' and 'relaxed' fits. Thank you for continuing to provide quality & durable products for the blue collar craftsmen and women. It would be awesome if you would start manufacturing more in the USA as well! ????

The vest is exactly what I was looking for in color and quality. I am 5'9 and 180 pounds and the medium was perfect.

I love the vest. I got a large and it's very bulky on my frame. A medium was too small. I don't know how the relaxed fit of the large would be.

Vest was a birthday present for my son and he loves it . It looks great on him . He got one as a present because I received one as a gift for Christmas and loved it . It feels great and is warm . I love the Sherpa lining.

Trying to find the right size in this vest was a massive trial by error. I'm 6-1, 215 lbs and ordered a Large since the reviews said this ran big. Normally I would have started with an XL, so I could have enough room to wear a flannel or base layer underneath. I have a 35-36" waist, and the mid section of the Large vest was still much too large and drafty, even with a base layer. So I sent it back and tried a Med and Med/Tall. The Med was a bit short as putting my hands in the warming pockets felt awkward as they were too high above the natural waist. The Med/Tall was the sweet spot as it had the proper amount of room for base layers in the mid section and correct pocket location for hand warming. This is the ONLY Medium sized piece of clothing I own. Most of what I buy is Large or XL depending on the fit. So, if you're built like an offensive lineman you'll be in heaven with the Loose fit. I have found the Relaxed fit to be correct to my build in Carhartt, with Large fitting like normal. The vest itself is 'Bad-A' so it was worth it for me to go through this run around to find one that fit right. The painful fitting process took it down to 4 stars.

Love it - very warm. It does run big (even as a loose fit). Normally wear an XL but a large fit perfect. Got one for a friend who normally wears a large, and he had to send it back for a medium. Very impressed with customer service and return policy.

Great vest. Bought it for my daughter for Christmas, she loves it. But it arrived with a 2" tear in the front. She had already removed the tags.

My absolute favorite vest to date. I have been looking for some time and I finally found a really great vest. It is oversized like the name implies. If you are going to be wearing it over a sweater or hoodie just order you regular size. Only go one size Down if you plan on wearing just the vest over a shirt.
