These are huge! I'm disappointed because these are not listed as being oversized.

I'm sure the pants are great, but I wouldn't know because I don't have them yet, three weeks after ordering them. Columbia has the longest ship times ever. How on earth does not take this long to ship something in todays world??

Even though I bought a "short" size (32" waist), the fit is way off for short people (like me). The rise (crotch length) is more in line with a regular or tall size. So even if the length is right, the pants simply don't fit. This is sad because Columbia used to fit me in short sizes perfectly. I suspect Columbia is saving money by not altering the pattern in the upper portion of the pants and is simply cutting them short. I used to work in the industry (action sportswear and men's clothing) and this is an increasingly popular shortcut. :(

The button that secures a bottom zipper (going over a boot) on one of the pants broke off on the first use. The pants were still unused with a tag on. Ironically, the same button type is used at the waste without an extra button, velcro or anything. If that one button breaks as easily, the pants will fall down without a belt. The pants look well made otherwise. But for the price, I don't want to do any DIY repairs. Returned.

Ive used Columbia snow pants for a long time...my last pair lasted me 15 years...i never had a problem with the fit... the new snow pants i ordered were too big, the next size down too small. what kind of sizing are you doing? I'm a size 35 waist but fit a 36 decently, yet the Large needed a belt to stay up because they were too loose yet the medium s I couldn't button. The old waist band adjustment would easily take care of the problem but not these. Also i ordered a short length yet the crotch cut was easily for someone well over 6 feet. The crotch was so long that it made bending my knees difficult. Its the main reason I returned the large's. I would've begrudgingly used the belt....now I have no snow pants and get by with my rain shell... I'm really surprised and disappointed that your sizing has gotten so unusable for me.

Pants are thin with very little insulation. Bought these for my son. He had a previous version, which seemed much studier and with more insulation. Pants ripped the second day skiing and he was not doing anything crazy. First time that has ever happened. Liked these because he is stocky and they come in shorter lengths. Will look elsewhere for a replacement.
