I have lots of Sorel's ,when these boots came it was like getting a luxury item!! I own the carnival boot in a size 8,these I definitely needed a 8.5.My Sorel's Run from a 7.5 to a 8.5. My flip flops are 7. I actually haven't received yet another boot which I ordered even larger. Think of your application. These are so beautifully well made and sturdy! They Have a lot of insulation, and a growling tread. It's August so haven't had an actually application but there was no way ,I wasn't keeping these! Yes I would recommend! Heck I want them in an additional color!

Pros: The boots are stylish, warm and cozy. Warm enough for our Colorado winters, not sure about colder northern climates. I bought this boot because the tread was better than a lot of other boots out there. I thought having to tie them every time would be annoying but you can fix the laces so you can basically wear them like pull on boots with minor adjustments to the laces as needed. I am happy with the boots overall, especially because I got them on sale at the end of the season.
Cons: I normally wear a 9, but I got a 9.5. This is the right size for me. But even though I have very narrow feet, the toe box is small, and I am left with it feeling slightly cramped when sitting but not standing. Weird. If you have wider feet you might need to go up a full-size or more. These would be worth trying on in person if possible.

To be fair, I haven't had a chance to wear them yet, thus the 4 instead of 5 stars, our Michigan weather has been too warm, and not enough snow. But my initial try-on was great. I sized up 1/2 a size, from 8.5 to a 9 and they fit and feel great. Supportive and comfortable, great looking and are well made.

I love this boot, the style, the structure, and the look. Unfortunately for me they run small and I had to return them. When I returned them they were out of the next size up. But, if I see them again I will purchase a pair.

Love these boots. The only problem is I am not used to a winter boot being so form fitting. It fits like a shoe, so sometimes because of this I struggle to get the boot on my foot without tugging on the back of the boot to help pull it on. I very much Love the look and warmth of this boot though.

I am usually a size 6, but I went up a half-size after reading the suggestion to go up a full size to allow for a heavier sock. I found the half-size to be perfect. I still have enough room for a heavier sock, and yet it is not too big. The boot seems comfortable and they are cute. I can't speak on whether they are waterproof yet, but they do have a great tread on the bottom for bad weather.

I like everything about these boots except for the soles. I find that they do not do well on icy ground. They also tend to be a bit stiff. I think the stiffness will improve as I wear them longer. They are very warm and comfortable.

Feel good and seem to fit well. Did go up a size after reading other reviews. Waiting for the snow to fly to really test them out.

**I have not worn these boots besides just trying them on so I cannot speak on longevity. This is just about the initial fit and experience with Sorel!
I almost passed on buying these because of reviews about size issues but I loved the look of them so I went for it. I am a narrow size 8 and bought both an 8.5 and 9 to try. The 8.5 fit best out of the two. It fits me perfect with thick socks and not too snug. With a thin sock it is a tad roomy. But I will most likely not be wearing summer socks with these boots so I am not worried about it. I will say the front feels much more narrow than the ankle area which feels a bit loose which was surprising because I read a lot of reviews saying the opposite. But every foot is different. If you have narrow feet, I would go for these and try them out! Very cute, seem to be good quality, and very warm.
However I am only giving 4 stars because I had bought two pairs and while the first was okay, the second looked as if they'd been used already. Please see the attached photos.
Otherwise, service and shipping has been good.

Toe box is a little narrow but worked for me. Warm, good sole with good traction. Needed a full size larger than my regular size.

I usually wear a 7 1/2 so I ordered an 8 because it's a boot and I wanted room to wear thick socks. The 8 was too small even without thick socks, so I would go up at least a full size.

Boots are a little loose around the ankle area. Otherwise, they fit fine and are pretty waterproof.

These are some really cute boots! I got brown and black, lol. My foot is a little bit on the narrow side so I ordered my original size 7 but I do understand what the other ladies are saying about the tight fit so I would recommend a half size larger ?

I should have returned these because they are too snug on my feet. Sorel sizes are very inconsistent. Size up when buying!

I like these boots a lot, I bought them for a trip to the mountains in Colorado so I waited to review until testing them in the snow and ice. First, they are very warm and my feet were comfortable without being too hot even when walking around town thousands of steps. They kept out the snow and moisture so no concerns there about wet socks, they had good traction when I did find patches of ice or impacted snow. My favorite thing about them is how light they felt on my feet. I also own a pair of Sorel Caribou's and I think those are slightly warmer than these but they are FAR more cumbersome and uncomfortable to walk in for long. The Caribou's are so heavy that you kind of pick them up slower than a normal walking pace so you move slower and look like you're trudging around, I would not wear them for any walking distances. By comparison to the Caribou's and my other Sorels which are just fashion (non insulated) boots, these Tivoli's are the perfect mix, barely any heavier on the foot than the fashion boots but with nearly all the warmth of the chunky Caribou's. I'm very happy and would recommend for most people who deal with snow and ice, perhaps not the deepest snows and coldest temperatures like Canada and Chicago etc.

I loved the style of these boots but they felt very narrow- they actually pinched my foot so they had to go back. I wish I could have kept them.

Super cute boot, cozy and comfy, but runs small. Ordered a full size bigger than my other Sorels and still need a 1/2 size up.

I ordered these boots to wear on a trip to Fairbanks, Alaska in January. I wear an 8.5, but ordered a 9 and 9.5 based on reviews. I returned the 9's and kept the 9.5 since I didn't have time to order size 10 boots for my trip. The 9.5 worked and were plenty warm but they felt too tight on my feet. I'll be donating or gifting these next season to someone who wears a much smaller shoe size. Honestly, Sorel needs to review there sizing for this style and a few others. I got the omega taupe boots and the color is beautiful and versatile. I have gotten many compliments.

Good height of boot. Doesn't slide when walking in snow. Tight around toe area. Reviews said to order a size up so I ordered a 10 (I'm a 9.5). Keeps feet warm for an hour or so but if in prolonged cold then warmth starts to fade (that was in 10-19 degrees). I've also used these shoes in -20 and keeps warm (again only for specific amount of time).

I'm a 8 in women decided to get a 8 and half because some Reviews stated boots run a little smaller. Should have gotten a 9. Have to size up a whole size don't do half.

Liked them very much, make sure to go up at least a half to 1 size up. I have very small thin feet so a half size was great for me. The only thing I would change is the footbed, no support at all and the liner is way to thin for this type of boot at this price. I had to purchase an orthotic for them which added to the cost. But I like them enough to keep them.

I purchased a size 12 in response to all the other reviews and they were correct - runs a size small - I usually wear an 11 and the 12 fit just right.
