They are a little bulky, which is suppose can be expected with winter boots and stiff for now, that’s why I only gave 4 stars. I’m hoping they will loosen up. I purchased half a size larger but now that I’ve worn them a few times, I find my big toe hitting the front of the boot. Maybe could have gone up a whole size, hopefully if they become less stiff my foot won’t get pushed forward as much.

I normally wear 7.5, tried 8.5 and ended up getting a 9. Finally, the 9 felt right. So, I had to go up a size and a half from my normal size. My foot still felt squished in the 8.5. Once you find your size, though, these are really nice and warm.

I am usually an 8 in most boots and the Sorel Joan of Arctic but in some boots that have an almond shaped toe box I would usually go up 1/2 sizes to the 8 1/2. These I saw on the reviews ran small and I am glad I ordered the 9. I figured better too big and then I could wear a thicker sock. However, the 9 just fits with a slim sock, so if you plan to wear a thick winter sock or a boot sock you may even need another 1/2 size up if you have feet that are at all wide. I take a medium width but have on the wider size foot so I need the extra room in an almond shaped toe or a leather that would not stretch too much. Other than that the boots are great looking, they flex at the toe to be comfortable to drive and they seem well made. The fleece you see around the top does not extend beyond about 3 inches from the top of the boot, although the fleece on the tongue goes lower. There is not the same fleece that you can see around the top on the foot bed or within the area where your foot is, there it is just a shorter fleece lining in that area.

I normally wear a 5 1/2 B, sized up to a 6 B. The fit was perfect!

These boots are very warm and comfy. I wore them all day at work and I didn't have "foot/ankle fatigue".

Had to go half size up.My usual Size 8 was too small.you

Love these boots, very stylish (for snow boots) and comfortable. Previous reviews recommended ordering half to a full size up. I ordered half bigger (since full size up was sold out) and while I could wear them with thin socks, thicker socks didn’t work, primarily due to a fairly narrow toe box. So I had to return them and hope they come available again next fall.
