Was disappointed as I thought the previous pants I ordered had an elasticwaistband

They definitely run small and like others have said, they are low waisted and would fit a straight figure best.

I have 2 other pair of these pants and love them. This summer decided to order a 3 rd pair. Even though they say that they are the same size, they are smaller and shorter than the others.

I have 5 pairs of the shorts from previous years that I love. I don't love these pants. The waist is weird. The pockets are too small to hold much, certainly not for hiking. The elastic thing around the bottom is awkward. Returning. Wanted to love them and get a few colors. Neh.....

Big fan of the old style Dynama/2. What are you thinking? Do you actually ask women what they want? None of us want a hand pocket that will not securely hold a couple of things. The old model just made the cut and now you have taken that away! Plus the waistband isn't as durable or comfortable, plus the legs don't have the reinforcement seem, plus only one back pocket (two before). Really? Can't believe I'm going to have to return these. Purchased online so couldn't try on. Assumed that they would be the same pants as before.

Mountain Hardware is usually one of my go-to brands, but they missed the mark on these pants. The stretch waist band feels flimsy and looks cheap. I like to have pants that can be rugged yet classy, but I don't trust these to star in either role and I am sending them back. So disappointing.

These pants are way too low and not comfortable. I measured the pants and they have an 8" rise NOT a 10" rise. Back they go...

I have several pairs of the previous year's Dynama pants, but I will not buy this version. (I tried it on in the store, and that was enough.) The pocket change was a huge mistake. Not only are the pockets small, but they stick out in a very unflattering way. That was all I needed to see to rule out this new design. I do see other reviews mentioning the tighter, less comfortable waistband, and that's a shame. Mountain Hardwear, PLEASE bring back the old design :)

Love everything about these except for the calf section, was too tight. I'm 5'2" 125 and got an ex small and it fight great everywhere but the calf. Sadly they went back. The joggers however worked great!

I love these pants, but the rise is too low (and I'm only 5'6"), and the top of the waistband is too tight in relation to the otherwise perfect fit of these pants in a size Small.

2 stars for length which is better than the original Dynama. The new waistband is tight and uncomfortable. The leg zipper is annoying, placed too low.

Beware, if you're a lover of the Dynama pant (which I am, owning 5 pair plus shorts and capris) these are nothing like them. Material is stiffer, waistband is stiffer. I wear a medium in the Dynama and maybe a large would feel better in this Dynama/2 but the medium definitely is too tight.

I should have known this wouldn't fit well since it comes in S, M, L, XL instead of numerical sizes.

6’1”. The size large with long instead was barely too short, but manageable. I wore them once. The waist kept rolling down. I was hiking up my pants all afternoon. I washed them once. Then the legs were literal inches shorter. The quality and resulting shrinkage was unacceptable. I looked like a 12 year old who was wearing her 8 year old sister’s pants. The waist didn’t shrink, just the length. Literal inches!

The “long” inseam was barely tolerable for 6’1” person and they shrunk after one single wash. After washing, the length was literal inches shorter. I looked like a 12 year old who borrowed her 8 year old sister’s pants. The waist also tends to role down repeatedly if shirt is not tucked in.

These were barely long enough for me at 6'1" and I wasn't expecting that they would shrink in the wash. The waist is still fine, but the leg length is literal inches shorter. That's unacceptable. I don't need capri pants when I'm paying this price for "long" inseam.

I thought these were ok at first and ordered a second pair. They were slightly shorter than I wanted as a 6'1" person, but be warned, THEY LOSE LENGTH WHEN WASHED. After washing one time, they are INCHES shorter.

I ordered a size too small because I'd lost 26 lbs; so wss as byes to exchange for size I purchased the first time but the postage was so expensive it was ridiculous considering the profit you make on these pants & promises of your stupid member club I'd have to pay double top postage ugh. What a ripoff. No thanks. I expected the size to fit as I'd lost 28 lbs.

I purchased 2 pairs of these pants. Love them as I have many pairs already. My only problem? The 2 pairs I ordered fit completely different, although they are the exact same size. I had to return one pair because of that. I'd like to see consistency with the sizing. The one pair was very tight, compared to the 4 pairs I already have . Size could have been mismarked but if I send them back and order another and it's the same, I'd have to pay for the shipping. And I cannot find the brown colour here in my city. The pants were made in 2 different countries, could explain the sizing issue?

I own several of this pair of pants in a small. I ordered this year's pant. They are cut more like a man than previously and are an awful fit for me. I returned them.

Specifically chose these because I tried on the ankle version in a local store but wanted the full length straight leg. These don't fit the same as the ankle version. Size small ankle was almost too loose. These in size small are too tight, and I think a size up would be too big. Annoying inconsistent sizing!

The cut of these is not the same as the Dynama 2/TM ankle pant. Why is this so? The Ankle version are great- I have about 15 pairs of those in all the colors. I was looking for a light beige color and so tried these, but there is way less room in the derrière, and the rise is lower. These are going back.

Own 3 pairs of Dynama2 ankle pants. Because I LOVE them. Was hoping for a longer version in these that I could wear in colder weather with socks. So disappointed! Legs are too baggy and wide. Rise is too short. Waist band is too rigid. These are nothing like the Dynamo 2 ankle pants in fit, if you have those. The waist is too tight and the pant legs are too baggy.
