I normally wear an 8 1/2 in Sorel, but this boot was really tight with no socks. So, I returned and ordered a 9. It fits in length but is narrow and I have skinny feet. Not sure why the fit in this style fits so weird.

These are a fairly nice, comfortable boot. I can't speak to how warm they'll be, but my issue is more with the shape and length of the toe box. I didn't know most women have feet shaped like long narrow skis. Sizing up just seems to make things longer and not any wider. Sorel - PLEASE START MAKING WIDE WIDTH SHOES AND BOOTS! No one wants cramped toes.

Could use ventilation, nice dark stone color, feel kinda heavy

A good boot, sizing runs small. I like to wear heavier socks in the winter, and the boot is tight.

I was really excited about the style and looked forward to living out my winter in these shoes. Alas, the size ran too small! So, I had to return it. Disappointed.

Not very warm and not very comfortable and did not keep my feet dry.

After reading reviews and going directly off of the size chart, I figured I'd be right on with the correct size. Nope-they were way too small. At this point, I'd almost rather purchase from a store that I can try on if possible, than the back and forth of finding the right size off their website. They were small enough that I don't even know if I'll need one or two sizes larger. I can tell they are a quality boot, but it's very disappointing for their sizing to be so off. I heard Sorel's run small. But then the descriptions say some styles run true to size...can't Sorel just get with it and make their shoes ALL true to size, really...truly? It seems it would make it easier on all, including them with not having to deal with returns and disappointed purchasers.

These seemed a bit snug at first, but a few wears and they will start to break in nicely. My issues is that they are rated for very low temperatures, and there is no way those ratings are correct. I live in Michigan, we have had a VERY mild winter this year and even still, I find that my toes are cold and wet after a 15 min dog walk in these.. they are NOT waterproof, and absolutely not going to keep your feet warm in severe weather. They are very comfortable though and wear more Like a trainer than a boot.

I love the shoe, but we just had our big first snowstorm in Boston and while shoveling snow and ice, the soft part of the shoe ripped a hole which no longer makes it waterproof. I only had had this shoe for two weeks so I'm extremely sad.

I definitely recommend sizing up a half size. I could barely fit my feet into my normal size. The style is nice, but they aren't as warm as I expected. Not a match for MN winters, so making a return this time. :)

Unfortunately for me these are narrow in the toe box and will not work for my feet. They're good looking boots, soft and warm inside. I wish there were wide sizes but will have to send these back.

I really hate returning the boots as they are just so stylish, warm and of top quality. However the dealbreaker is the wide toe area, which is not detrimental to hurt my toes but would be uncomfortable if I go for highly intensive exercise. I would suggest Sorel to consider making wide like their affiliate Columbia. I have no issues fitting into Columbia winter boots and have owned 4!

Women's Whitney II Short Lace Boot. I am sadly returning these boots. The insole has a heel and I found that very uncomfortable. After wearing in the house for a few hours my toes started hurting. I put on some SmartWool socks and slipped on the boots to test out the warmth but, I didn't get the warmth I was expecting - in fact - my feet were cold. The boots are easy to put on so that's a plus. I also liked the color and style. I was really hoping they'd be comfy and warm - but - for me they just didn't pass the test.
