This is a great jacket but know the fit is to size, purchase the size you normally get. There is not much room to layer up.

Purchased it as a gift but too big - will reorder for a smaller size

Love Northface with exception of extra long sleeves

Love Northface jackets but I don't like the extra long sleeves. Guess that should be a minor thing compared to the other good quality things!

I got a extra large and it's so wide and not long . My husband is 6'4 but slim and this is huge .

I don't have short arms at all, but this jacket in my usual size comes with very long sleeves that covered half of my hand. I returned it for the next size down and it's a little snug, but, at least the sleeves are the correct length. I bought is a more eco-friendly alternative to the marmot gravity jacket. I'm pleased with it so far. It's a little better looking and seems about as warm and weather-resistant. Just wish there was a way to tighten the ends of the sleeves. I knew that going in, though.

North face was great. I had an issue with my delivery getting stuck in New Jersey. They saw it was stuck and sent me a new item right away through a different carrier.

It's a nice coat, well made but it won't keep you very warm. My son wears with a hoodie sweatshirt underneath. Definitely not a warm winter coat but nice if you want a casual coat

Used it this weekend and I got plenty compliments about my jacket

My second Apex Bionic Jacket. A little different fit this time with the sleeves being way too long, without any velcro or elastic to help with the length. The zipper occasionally seems to get stuck while zipping up. Overall a solid purchase.

I will use this jacket am primarily for work and play. I love the style and feel of the jacket. Sleeves appears on the long side.

This jacket is great for fall and spring but when you go inside it gets hot. Put zips would be great.

Unfortunately I had to return this jacket. It just didn't fit well and the fabrics was very stiff. It clearly would have been warm for fall and early winter, and the quality felt fine. Just didn't work for me

Well. I haven't needed to wear it yet since it's 86F today. I can say that the jacket is very well made, and is constructed of what appears to be top quality materials. There is attention to detail in the entire jacket that I received. Fit is a great, and Thank You North Face for making Big Guy sizes, very much appreciated. Roomy enough to wear a couple layers under it if needed. Was plenty warm when I tried it on and checked the fit and movement. I feel sure it will be a great jacket when it gets cold enough to need it. Have been using North Face gear for over 40 years and it has NEVER let me down. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 star is because I really haven't really used it yet.

The Apex Bionic is my all around Jacket, casual and elegant, bold, discrete, excellent materials. My only con would be the "fit" which this version comes a little skinnier than previous versions, so, your arms are more tight

Nice color and fit. The fabric's a bit stiff. Perhaps that will change with wear and washing.

Looks good, multipurpose, comforable for everyday, warm and water/wind resistant. However, not a lot of stretch, may not recomend if vital or if taking on and off constantly.

Lightweight

Great for cold and windy weather. Better if it was waterproof, water seeps through the outer layer into the inside layer

originally ordered the 2xl tall and it was VERY big. Had to return for just a regular 2xl. It is a generous coat.

The jacket is great except that it's kind of short for a man's coat.

Works well in cold weather but does not block the wind chill.
