This jacket fits perfect. The soft interior is comfortable and warm. The exterior keeps the wind out and repels rain well. LOVE IT!!

This jacket does what it says it does. In Oklahoma it blocks the wind. In Michigan it blocked the wind but not really the cold and of course thats because its not a cold weather jacket. I put on a hoodie under the jacket and I was fine in the 26 degree weather that day. Back in Oklahoma in the rail the water just rolled off the jacket. Two thumbs up and I'll happily wear it for years to come.

Great purchase

Purchased this jacket for one of my sons for Christmas and he loves it. My other son liked it too, so I bought him one for his birthday in January! Very nice jacket and great quality.

The is an excelent all around jacket. Definitely not a rain jacket. But it'll keep of drizzle and snow. Also supper easy to clean. You can litterally just wipe it down with a damp rag!

The only real con for me was the fit of shoulders. I'm 5'9 190lbs (I have broad shoulders). The large was too tight, I felt like I'd bust the stitching out. I went with the XL, and the sleeves were too long, but at least my model had velcro at the cuffs. I've worn it two winters now. If you wear a light sweater underneath it's surprisingly warm. Not ideal, but will do the job in frigid Ohio. As a "jacket" it's hard to beat. I've worn it many times while riding my motorcycle, great for blocking the wind.

It is perfect and looks modern

I am a professional squirrel tracker that routinely wanders off the beaten path in search of the big one. Before you think I am hunting the squirrels I must say that I am doing this to befriend them. This jacket keeps me warm and dry on even the coldest and wettest nights in the wilds of central North Carolina. After purchasing this jacket I have seen an exponential increase in the size of my circle of small mammal friends. I am able to track longer, faster and higher. Thanks Northface. I couldn't have done it without you!

Stylish update to the Apex softshell line. Fit is a little weird as the sleeves are too long and bunch up. Cut seems made for guys with long torsos and long arms.

This was a birthday gift for my husband. He was very excited to get something other than black fleece again! This was the perfect casual, water-proof, neutral color alternative!

I use this jacket every day for work and recreation. Have owned several jackets from North Face and all of them have been exceptional.

I wanted a casual windbreaker that had good styling and comfort. My new jacket fulfills those basic requirements and better than I had hoped.

My husband loves that the brown can be worn for hunting as well as around town, hiking, etc. I love that he isn't buying expensive hunting clothes and only wearing them during the hunting season....I won't be seen with him wearing hunting camo around town... This brown allows him to use this as a hunting jacket with scent control base layer. This isn't a "warm" coat - I wouldn't recommend in the snow unless you're hiking/staying very active and have base layers. Though it's great for just about anything else. Not 100% waterproof but beads water in anything less than a "hard" rain. I wouldn't recommend to replace gortex - He still keeps a packable gortex for emergencies, but if we're hiking and it start raining there is no need to go for the gortex unless the rain picks up. I really like that he bought this jacket for hunting and it can be used for everything else. A great all purpose jacket.

My husband had one of these from a few years back. It was stolen from a rsstaurant. He was beside himself. Luckily his birthday was right around the corner so I had an excuse to replace the stolen one. He loves it and took the tags off and wore it immediately

Love this jacket, lost my first one and on my second, the jacket is perfect for someone who doesn't like big bulky jackets, I wear it as my winter jacket.

I have a couple of these jackets. They are a great fall/spring jacket if you live in colder climates. It is a great jacket for windy days as it really is 'windproof', you need to try it on to really appreciate it. I sometimes wear it in colder weather, but I need to have a layer underneath and it doesn't have a hood so be sure you have something to wear on your head. Again, if you live in cold climates (northern US) this is not warm enough to use as a winter coat, but it is great in cooler weather (fall and spring). It is stylish, comfortable, and I have the black one which can be worn formal, casual, and everything in between. If you are looking for a stylish (and functional) windproof jacket, I would recommend checking this one out!
