I bought it L same as previous coats unfortunately it is reduced in arm lenght and body wise. I returned it since there was no way to wear it at the local stores because they didn't have it in stock.

Small is 32" long, 45" wide (!!!) with 22.5" sleeves.
+ Stylish
- Cheap zippers, feathers stick out in a few places, no cinch, pockets aren't insulated
~ Not the warmest

I was really excited to get this Outerboroughs parka, but it's just not warm enough. The 550 fill was not adequate, and the bottom allows too much cold air into the coat, and this was just at -10 Celsius.
There's no way to cinch the waist, so you really feel it. The zipper is poor for this price point, and there's a big gap between the fur lining and hood which allows cold wind to reach your ears.
On the positive side, the blue colour is beautiful. It's a very deep, rich blue and the exterior fabric is a noticeable upgrade from the McMurdo. The overall design of this parka is quite attractive in person...just like the photos. But if it can't keep you warm, that's a deal-breaker.
Be sure to order once size smaller than normal. I'm usually an XL, but a Large fit my 5' 9", 230 pound frame. I have broad shoulders and a belly. :-)

Men's medium size is way too big for me. I'm 5'10" and about 160 lbs.

I have more TNF products & jackets than any one person needs, and I really wanted to love this parka. Despite being a solid medium in every other North Face jacket I own, I listened to the masses and ordered a small. It looked great; however, it restricted movement (especially of my arms near my upper chest), was too tight around my neck when zipped up, and didn't insulate very well at all.
I exchanged it (the process was a little painful but overall positive) and sized up to a medium. However, I found that the medium was too big by at least 2-3 inches on either side. As a result it was not warm at all, it allowed a significant draft in from the bottom (and top), and left big air pockets instead of insulation.
A well-fitting parka is a warm parka. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case for me. I have finally accepted that I won't have a TNF parka and may need to just bite the bullet and buy a Goose in the fall. However, given how well other TNF products have fit me over the years, I'm hopeful that, by way of feedback, TNF will consider creating a parka that is not "relaxed fit" as it really messes with the standard sizing we have all come to know and love from TNF. Consistency is key - it makes it easier to shop online when I know, with confidence, what size I need (especially with no brick & mortar store in my area).
For those who are wondering, I'm 6 feet tall, 173lbs, 15.5" neck size.
