They felt a big snug when I first put them on so I loosened the laces all the way and tightened to my liking.
They are a good looking athletic shoe which I wear for comfort, not for running.

For one year I had switched to another brand sneaker because I couldn't buy the Asics locally. I decided to take my chances and order the Asics and my feet are so happy again!!! I need a good stability shoe and this not only gives me the stability I need but it also gives the comfort that many other brands of shoes don't do.

I love my new sneakers. I'm a nurse, i have flat feet and spend at least 10-12hr on my feet. These sneakers keep my feet supported, no plantar pain , arch support on point.

This is my second pair of Asics Gel Kayano 27. Best running/walking shoes ever! Great cushioning where it's needed. They hug my heel and arch, but are generously roomy in the toe box.

Like running on air. I am mostly a treadmill runner and these are extremely supportive & comfortable. Great for a higher arch (although I do also add an arch insert).

I've been wearing the Kayano line for running for about 15 years now. About two new pairs per year and I've loved each pair. They fit my foot well, no blisters and no injuries. They also hold up well with each pair starting to show treat wear around the 400 mile mark.

I picked Kayano27 over Gel Cumulus 23, GT20098 and Gel Challenger13. Kayano appears to be closest to "nimbus", the pair I am demoting
to garden duty after 1.5 years of walking. The look is great too and this model is for people with medium-to-wide feet. Kayano27 has best arch support among the above models. Also like the stretchy laces and blue/aqua/pink color.
