The insoles pressed into my heel causing lasting pain. These shoes are essentially unwearable.

They squeak really loudly even after breaking them in.

These shoes are too stiff and they do not have enough cushion. They are narrow compared to other ASICS I have. Wish I could return but I already took tag off and tried to break them in.

loved the color but...These are so overpriced and irritating. There is minimal padding around laces which makes it very difficult to get tied comfortably. Where is the gel in forefoot of the shoe? Can you please go back to doing what ASICS was known for? GEL COMFORT!

I have been buying this particular shoe for many years. My physical therapist reccomended it for the way I walk. I am dissapointed about this pair of shoes. The toe box stitching is buckling and folding in the shoe. I am very sensitive in my toe areas as I have had surgery on my toes. This frankly hurts my toes. I suggest your company take care in the manufacture of the materials in the toe box.

I have always worn ASICS for running and walking to walk. Despite spending more on trainers than ever I am finding that the last two of Gel Kayano ( and the cheaper Gel Cumulus) just do not last, the material on top of the trainers fray very easily. I still have 3 old pairs of Asics that I do not use for sport but just in the garden etc and the material is so much better ( and I wasn't spending as much money on trainers 5 years ago!). I'm afraid I just wouldn't buy another pair of ASICS until this is remedied.

Too tight in the toes. Felt like my feet were in a vise grip. Very narrow for a regular width. Have worn the Kayano before, but these got sent back.

I am a huge fan of ASIC shoes! All I have worn for the past 20 years. However, the Gel Kayano 27s that I purchased are not what I expected. The inner liner around the toe box collapses and puts pressure on the big toe area. I thought it was just maybe the first pair I purchased, but the second pair is the exact same. I am highly disappointed satisfied and will be returning them as well.

The top of the shoe has a manufacturer malfunction in it. Where part of the shoe indents on my toe making it uncomfortable to walk. I have never had an issue before and have been a long time customer of ASICS

I have been wearing these shoes for a little over two weeks now for light walking. The material that goes around the ankle is extremely delicate and is already pretty severely ripped. These shoes are not durable and I would not recommend to anyone who is planning to wear for any type of exercise as they have only lasted me a total of less than 14 days before showing extreme wear and tear

I was very excited to buy these, loved the colors but am very disappointed. After one day of wearing them the front end by my big toe is caving in and won't go back . I am a nurse working through COVID and couldn't wait to buy a nice comfortable shoe. I usually love ASICS but these shoes definitely weren't worth the money spent .

I received these shoes and was so excited. They are very comfortable, but I've had these shoes for less than a month and the ankle padding is already torn. It is very disappointing. What makes matters worse is I threw my other pair of runners away before these tore.

I wrote this whole post and ASICS told me it's not an acceptable review so now I am trying again, only now it is lowered to 1 star. I never have had any problems with my sneakers in the past when it comes to the toe space. I read reviews about this model being a little different and some people complaining about toe space, so of course, I went ahead and ignored them all and got the shoe. Listen, it's not terrible. I won't die nor will my toe fall off. You can get a decent workout in for maybe an hour. But, if you are wearing these for half a day or more, your big toe will get sore. I just spent a day moving into an apartment and my toes were really hurting by the end to the point where I had to take them off. Definitely wouldn't want to hike in these things for many hours. I'm not super mad, I chose my fate, but for the price, I would not buy these ever again. Unfortunately this was my first model from ASICS and also now I'm wondering if other bad reviews got blocked.

I bought these shoes to exercise on an elliptical. These are the most uncomfortable shoes i have ever worn! It felt like i had pins and needles jabbing me in the feet. I couldn't even finish my workout! I had to stop and get those shoes off quick. I would like to return them, i only wore them once inside. They are expense shoes to just sit in a closet.

I received these as a gift a month ago and have already put my toe through both sneakers. I do walk/run 6 days a week but for the price of these sneakers they should be able to last more than a month. I love the support and comfort of Kayano but will not take the chance on them again.

Sent the wrong sized shoes twice - closed the call centre down and slow to reapond via email

I loved my old Gel-Kayano 26 so I decided to purchase these online. I'll never order online again without being able to try the sneaker on! The toe of the sneaker has a hard plastic like material that folds in half while running digging into my big toe. I even order a size up! Awful design. And now I can't return because they were worn. Make sure you can try your sneakers on before buying!

Wow these are so strange. Up until I ordered this shoe I have never had a shoe size 8 (my normal shoe size) that I could not get my foot at least partially in to. The white strips on the foot entry point are weirdly HUGE and kept me from squeezing my foot in! Don't waste your time and money on these.

inserts are cheap, no support in arch, what happened to the Kayano?

Offered really poor arch support and overall uncomfortable for the cost. Returned.

the top of the shoe smashes down on top of the big toe which causes blisters. I was truly expecting a very comfortable shoe from Asics but it is my first pair I cant even wear. I usually love my Asic shoes
