Too narrow and stiff... I usually can wear narrow shoes but these are too narrow. Go for wide.

I have purchased the gel kayanos for multiple years and this is the first time the new model was significantly worse than the prior years. The 27 does not have the same cushion or support, which is evident while running. I will be trying to purchase an older model.

This was a very expensive running shoe but it feels exactly like my old one that I was replacing after 10 years. Minimal support and cushioning. Kind of like my bedroom slippers. I didn't know what I should have expected but can't return it because I have worn it outside several times.

After wearing these a couple of times, these began to hurt my right foot. The stability plastic part of the shoe dug into my the inner part of my foot. It is well made and I love the colors but super sad these were disappointing. I've worn Kayanos before and these are well cushioned.

Beautiful color, they just did not fit my foot correctly so, I immediately shipped back. I did not wear them.

I would not recommend this shoe for someone with flat, wide feet. I walk 2-5 miles daily, and struggle with low arches and overpronation. Wearing these shoes for the past few weeks has caused me to have painful shin splints, and my feet continue to noticeably roll inward. I am disappointed and unfortunately would not recommend these shoes.

I usually love Asics. I bought this online though and i'm not impressed with the construction. It kind of puckers around the toe area and the material doesn't sit right. They are also tighter than my other pairs. Not worth the money

These shoes look good, however they run small. I normally wear a size 8.5 and sized up to a 9 thinking it would be good to have some extra room. But they're tight.

I've been wearing the Kayano for years and years. I currently rotate four pairs of older model Kayano shoes to wear for yard work. I developed knee pain requiring medical intervention after wearing the Techno Cyan/Sunrise Red Kayano 27 for a number of months. Then I forgot to pack my Kayano 27s for a trip so I purchased a cheaper pair of Asics Sonoma 5 to wear for the long weekend. Oddly enough, I realized a few days later my knee pain had disappeared! I wore the Kayano 27s after returning home and the knee pain returned. I stopped wearing the Kayano 27s for over a month and the knee pain went away. My knee pain was from wearing the Kayano shoes! *They were comfortable to wear until the knee pain started.

I've purchased Asics for years now and I have loved them. Unfortunately the balls of my feet started hurting about two miles into my run. I would have returned them but I had already thrown the box out as I didn't foresee any issues with shoes I have purchased for over a decade!

Very disappointed with the quality after years of wearing Asics.

Very uncomfortable shoe. I returned, couldn't even wear on a treadmill for five minutes.

These are the second pair of ASICS I've purchased and they are not comfortable at all.

I really wanted to love these but they're honestly so uncomfortable. The shoe's way too narrow and I read reviews that said it got better with time but I've worn them on several walks and on one 12-hour shift (I'm a nurse and comfortable shoes are a must!) and I was still very much aware of the shoes on my feet and that's just not what I'm looking for. I wish I could return them.

Very narrow, horrible fit. I have been wearing Gel- Kayano for several several years these were terrible, returned ASAP

Runs very small and tight. Not comfortable pr smooth.

I love Asics and have been wearing them since I was in high school. I ordered these because I thought they were good looking and seemed like a solid running shoe. However, as soon as I started running in them I started getting knee problems. I'll probably have to donate these and I would definitely not recommend this model, although I've had good experiences with Asics in the past.

Nice for occasional wear but not comfortable for long distances

Took over 10 days to arrive and faulty when they got here. When shoe bends they create inverts that rub toe DO NOT BUY

I've had ASICS Gel-Cumulus 17 for 5+ years and have loved those shoes. When I read reviews about the newer Cumulus, the new ones seemed to run narrow. I have a medium/wide foot size 8.5. I tried the ASICS Gel-Kayano 27 because the reviews seemed to be true to size. Nope. At first they seemed like they fit and just needed to break in. I went for a walk outside and my toes were tingling numb. I am so disappointed. They are too tight to feel comfortable. The shoelaces are very thin material and are much shorter compared to my other ones. I regret giving these a try outside because now I can't return them.

I had to send these shoes back. They were uncomfortable due to a spot right at my big toe pushing down on the top of my toe/toe nail. They fit great and were comfortable other than the defect at the toe.

I was really looking forward to this shoe. Turned out to be so disappointing. The glue connecting the shoe are the sole was highly visible on BOTH shoes. Considering the sneakers were all all black, this was unacceptable. Lastly, the fit was nothing like the Kayano 26's. Extremely disappointedreturned them.

Toe box is too narrow. Third shoe I have purchased and cannot wear.

As a healthcare worker I depend on good shoes to help me get thru the day. These shoes were a huge disappointment. My knees hurt so bad I started limping. As soon as I stopped wearing the shoes the knee pain stopped. Fellow healthcare workers beware because for the price I am beyond disappointed.

There is no cushion in these shoes AT ALL! They made the balls of my foot feel hot when running from being so stiff. After only 90 miles the bottoms of the shoes look completely worn. I went back to my old shoes with 400 miles on them and they felt almost new after running in these. Look elsewhere!
