There is an odd feature in the shoe that causes a popping as you walk.

I love these shoes, but they have just one issue for me. The mesh that is used on the upper portion of the shoe wears out too fast. The rest of the shoe is in great shape and I could easily get a few more months of use out of them, if it weren't for the gaping holes in the mesh where my toes are. I'd love if Brooks offered options other than this mesh on their shoes, as it seems to happen with just about every pair I buy. Or possibly a stronger mesh that doesn't get holes in it so easily.

I am not sure what you all changed when you moved to the Cascadia 15, but I will say that I liked the 14 better. The 15 does not seem as cushy to me.

Sadly this update of the Cascadia 14 changed the design of the shoe and they no longer fit. My regular size was too short and the 1/2 size up was too wide.

Typically wear the Dyad for road walking and general daily use. It's too clunky especially in a double wide and a bit slippery for trail use and chores. Was looking for a trail sneaker with a wider sole to accommodate bunions on the big and little toes. While the upper stretches around the bunions, the sole ends in the midst of my deformed metatarsal heads. According to Brooks: "In regards to the mesh upper, increasing one width option does not make the shoe itself larger, but only adds around 3/8" inch to the upper material to provide more space. If you wanted more sole, I would recommend going up to a double wide. Unfortunately, we do not make the Cascadia available in a women's double wide, however you might be able to try a men's wide option. Just subtract 1.5 from your women's size to get your accommodating men's size." Also the upper fabric is very thin. The combination of the thin fabric and the thick flared sole doesn't make sense to me for hiking. Brooks says, "In regards to having the sole flare out more, it is to allow for more surface area under the foot to provide more stability as you're walking on uneven surfaces." This is counterintuitive--wouldn't you want to be able to react to rocks and roots by bending around them? The flared sole would plant your foot more evenly maybe, but the thin fabric would allow your foot to slide within the shoe, right? I can't test this out, though, without damaging the shoes and being unable to return them. Wish there was a naturally-shaped low-cut hiking shoe that accommodates bunions and is cushioned, in larger women's sizes.

Great traction. However, for a trail runner shoe IT LETS IN SO MUCH SAND!

These are my favorite shoes, have been for 14 years. But it seems each iteration is getting more and more bland, and losing a lot of the iconic look of the Cascadia. Bring back the ruggedness and the colors! Please no more neutral bland stuff of the last couple of versions. Then it?s just another boring running shoe. I miss the old cascadia designs!!

For me the Cascadia 14 is a better fit. Great trail running shoe but toe design change is less forgiving due to extra reinforcement.

Wanted to love these because I'd heard so much about this Brand. They were supportive, but I felt they looked a little TOO supportive....like orthopedic shoes. Color was just not right. My toes also went numb after wearing them a while, so it's back to the drawing board for me.

It's a good quality shoe. I bought it because I have some feet issues and these were recommended to me, but I still have some issues with my feet when I wear them. I ordered a wide shoe but, unfortunately, it is not wide enough. The narrow toe causes some pain for my feet after walking in the shoe for a while. I am hoping as I break the shoes in, they will be more comfortable.

I've been wearing Cascadias for YEARS, but for some reason this pair started breaking down really quickly. I got them at the beginning of winter and have just been starting to ramp up mileage - will try a new pair but hoping I don't have to switch to another shoe.

I've been running in Cascadias for every release; with the padded tongue, these definitely fit more like a classic Cascadia, and I'm glad they dumped whatever path they were starting with the 13 and 14.
That said, mine have tapped out at less than 280 miles. Tread and upper look good as new, but I'm getting a ton of shock injuries - small toe bursitis, a metatarsal bruise, some sciatica. I can't pinpoint any discomfort on the run, but I'm suddenly getting mystery impact injuries in both feet all at once. I think the foam died early.
I'm probably more of a sky-runner and abuse my shoes in the Rockies, but I feel like these just didn't have the foam durability of the cascadia 10-12. I couldn't get through one trail half marathon season in these. These are not going to cut it for a full marathon or trail ultra season. It sucks, because they do what they need to in terms of grip and rock protection.
The ribbon laces are also cheap and hard to lock down without your knot slipping.

I was surprised by these shoes and not in a good way. Rock hard and with minimal cushioning. I don’t think feet will be happy in these and definitely not mine, so back to Zappos they go. Come on, Brooks! Make us a road shoe that puts up with gravel and mud but has the stability and cushioning of the Adrenaline.

I usually love Brooks. But I don't care for the Cascadia Trail Shoes. I find they aggravate my calf's and chins.

These shoes come highly recommended by most reviewers but I had a lot of difficulty with them. Just as a warning, these shoes are not your friend if you are accustomed to a more minimalist shoe that provides a more tactile feel that connects you with the trail you're running on. The True/Pure Grit series for women was great and I'm sorry that I could not find them available. Cascadia seemed like a fair trade off but proved to provide too much cushioning for my style.

I have worn Brooks Cascadia for several years and loved them. I got the Cascadia 15 late September 2020 and they are already tearing and loosing their support after just five months and I have put fewer miles on these than previous pairs. I won't order this brand/style again. So disappointed.

I suffer with plantar fasciitis, so this was not a good fit for me. I returned them. I wanted to try different brands of Brooks Running Shoes, but I have ascertained that the Ghost 13s are best for me! Brooks Running Shoes (Ghost 13s) are the only shoes that I can don straight from the box, without having to break-in for comfort! I wish I had known about these during my 20 years of military service! Thank you, Brooks!

I had the Cascadia 13 and really loved them. The new version is so ugly that I didn't even bother wearing them out of the house to test. You can't tell by the pictures online but the added lace holder and attachment loops for the gaiters make the shoe look ridiculous. The color combinations are simply terrible. The shoe almost resembles a tap shoe.

I sent them back because they were too narrow. I own 4 other pairs of Brooks in same size 8.5 wide and they fit just fine. But then I ordered these and they were too narrow so I sent them back. Ordered men's instead in same shoe size 7 and they fit fine. .

Very cool look, but the toe box is narrow. I wear an 8.5 Wide and all of Brooks women's shoes fit without any break in time. I am thankful that I wore then a couple of days before my Hiking Trip to Colorado - since they wear not the typical sizing.

I had to return this shoe. I ordered it in a size eight and a half (which is what I have always worn in Brooks shoes) but it was way too small and especially narrow in the toe area. And it wasn't as cushiony as my beloved Levitate 2s. I wanted something a bit sturdier for trails in the winter but this shoe wasn't for me. I think I will have to order the Levitate again.

Very stiff and just hard running. I tried a few short trail runs and they felt like bricks. Toe box was fine and so was the arch. Just too clunky.
