I have almost exclusively run in Brooks for 10 years. They fit my foot better than any brand I’ve tried. I run trails whenever I can but due to northeast weather am sometimes forced to run on packed snow or roads. These shoes are great for any condition and are the best pair of Brooks I’ve owned. Roomy toe box allows my toes the room necessary to splay out but not feel loose. The shoe’s outer material does a good job repelling water and with wool running socks keeps my feet plenty warm in cold conditions. My big toes always wear a hole in the top of the shoe with Brooks road shoes (after 100+ miles) but the Cascadia GTX seems to have tougher material there so I’m optimistic that these won’t do that. I really like how with Brooks I don’t have to think about my shoes while running, they are comfortable, grippy and overall a pleasure to wear. Thankful I am able to run each time I do.

Love them. All the quality of Brooks plus weather resistant. Firmer shoe for sure but still comfortable

I am not a runner. But I hike a lot on trails with rocks, roots, slippery spots, and such. These shoes are excellent for hiking. Good support. Great cushioning against rocks and other pointy stuff. Good traction. Super lightweight without feeling flimsy. Really no complaints.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and with the onset of our fall and winter rainy season I've finally gotten to put these shoes to the real test. So far I'm extremely pleased. They give pretty good purchase on muddy trails, keep my feet dry, and they're super comfortable and light. The only thing I might like is a bit more rigidity in the sole for running across rough ground, but I'm probably just conditioned to too many years of wearing approach shoes for trail running.

I love this shoe. Great for heavier runners and hikers. Outstanding grip on slippery surfaces like rocks and mud, great sturdy shoe for steep mountain ascents and descents. Completely waterproof which is ideal for the fall and winter seasons in Alaska. 9 mile trail run on very rugged terrain and feet feel great. Brooks really knocked it out of the park with this Cascadia 15 GTX. My Ice Bugs just can't compete with them for their all weather all around utility.

Loved the Waterproof feature. I need this for morning Disc golf play with the heavy dew. I have had no problems with wet feet like I used to with my regular Brooks. The regular Brooks have a more comfortable feel inside, but the Gortex is worth the dry feet.

Probably my 5th or 6th pair of Cascadias...in my mind the best trail running shoe available. Like always, they were stiff for the first 8-10 miles, but then they break in. I use orthotic inserts, so that could be part of the break-in process. These are my first Cascadias with Goretex (I think) excited to see how that works. PS: Just used my year-old Cascadias back packing on Mt Rainer--perfect. I would never hike in hiking boots unless snow was involved!

Fantastic water proof technology. Feel a touch “heavy” when running, but you know they can withstand any trail type. Highly recommend.

I needed a GoreTex waterproof shoe. My regular Brooks Ghosts always get wet in the rain. These fit well and seem to be good in wet conditions. I would recommend these Brooks Cascadia 15 GTX Trail GoreTex shoes.

Fit was perfect and they were instantly comfortable right out of the box. Could use a little more padding in the heel. This is my first Brooks purchase.

I bought these for thru hiking on the PCT. Wanted a light weight shoe as opposed to a heavier hiking shoe. I've done some shorter hikes with them in Arches and Canyonlands NP. Very comfortable. Worked well on uneven and rocky terrain. Happy with my purchase!

I live in San Luis Obispo, Ca. where I do a ton of trail runs. I've always been hesitant to purchase trail running shoes though as I assumed they would be heavy, bulky and ugly. These Cascadia 15 GTXs are none of those things. Even on the pavement, these shoes feel light and just like regular running shoes (I use the Brooks Ghosts). Get them on the trail and the difference is obvious. They have incredible traction and a ton of support when you're running over chunky, rocky terrain. The added bonus was they look great... better than they appear in the stock photos. My wife even commented when I first put them on that she liked my new shoes... I was shocked.

This is the first Cascade I've bought. It won't be the last because I won't be buying any other Gore Tex shoe. The Cascade is my go to winter/spring shoe.

Third pair of the Brooks Cascadia. Well made shoe. Fits well from day one and works well in all types of weather with the Gore-Tex lining. Perfect for trail running and hiking.

I like the under foot Cushy feel of the Levitate 2 I have. Knowing you must maintain the sole, durability, and rock plate as is but above that I would like to see some improvement in cushioning. Perhaps my solution would be an after market insert or maybe you could do that better. Just a thought.

Longtime Brooks wearer. I purchased the cascadia 15 gtx. First off i like the color combo and the updated tread design. Shoes were very stiff to start out but after about the 3rd time out had softened up or broken in. I really like the updated moulding on the bottom half of the mesh upper and toe box. These were replacing my cascadia 12's. The 15's are still much stiffer than the older 12's ever were. I guess it depends on what you like for your specific purpose. Anything other than offroad these are too stiff for my personal likening. Traction is awesome as always and build quality is also excellent. If wanting something that is goretex and suited for some offroad and on road with a bit more cushion I'd highly recommend the ghost 13 gtx's. To these. Just to add that I've owned a bunch of Brooks goretex models over the years and they really are waterproof. Great shoes for wet mornings to winter slush a non issue.
I'd also recommend:

I like the waterproof element. I got them for morning disc golf when the grass is so wet. My feet stay dry and I love the GTX! They are not as soft on the inside as my other Books running shoes and have good enough arch support. They are great for what I use them for. I’ll run in my regular Brooks.
